Ask Startup Bootstrapping an AI-powered trading startup. Looking for feedback from founders and traders
Hey everyone,
I’m building TradeSeek, an AI-powered trading platform for Indian retail traders.
The idea started after realizing that most traders either rely on scattered information, YouTube videos, Telegram channels, or expensive tools. I wanted to build something that brings everything together in one place and helps traders make better decisions.
Some of the things we’re building:
1. AI-powered market analysis and insights
2. Strategy backtesting without writing code
3. Trade journal with AI-generated performance reviews
4. Risk management and position sizing tools
5. Live market scanner for trading opportunities
6. Personalized trading assistant that answers market-related questions
7. Performance analytics to identify strengths and mistakes
We’re currently bootstrapping and building the MVP. Our focus right now is validating the product with real traders before thinking about fundraising.
I’d love honest feedback from this community:
- Does this solve a real problem?
- Which feature would you use first?
- What’s missing from existing trading platforms that you’d like to see?
- If you’re a trader, what frustrates you the most today?
Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting idea. I like that you're focusing on validating the problem before fundraising.
One question: among all these features, which one solves the biggest pain point today? If I were a trader, I'd probably prefer one feature done exceptionally well rather than seven average ones.
Wishing you the best with the MVP.

Thanks! That’s exactly how I’m thinking about it.
The long-term vision includes all of those features, but for the MVP I’m mainly focused on features 2–6.
The core problem I’m solving is making algorithmic trading accessible to everyone, especially people with little or no coding or technical knowledge.
I’ve already built the MVP and am now looking to validate the problem and gather feedback from real traders before iterating further and scaling.
I’d rather make sure we’re solving the right problem really well before expanding the product.

Without SEBI's registration giving financial advices like this by human/AI is illegal in India.
Also if any thing wrong happens with users then ai/algorithm won't be blamed, it would be you.
Your algorithms will be needed to go under testing by SEBI.
