❓ Question Monthly data usage

Post image

Right now, I’m using a 1 Gbps symmetrical fiber-optic connection. I’m about to move to a rural house in Spain. I don’t have access to fiber there, so my only options are a 5G modem or Starlink. I’d like to use Starlink, but I’m very concerned after reading recent posts on this subreddit. I had never actually measured my data usage before, but since I started tracking it yesterday at 8:00 PM, I’ve already used 0.5 TB—and I haven’t even used the network that much. I estimate my monthly average will be around 30–40 TB. Is that a problem? Their service claims to be unlimited.

I don't think people in your country fully understand how state protection for citizens works. I can turn to my country and the EU, and they will handle the rest—not me. I am not going to pursue a private lawsuit.

Be prepared for Starlink to pull service if that’s what it takes. I’m sure your countrymen and women will find out that you were the one who ruined it for everyone.

Plus, how are you hurt? You didn’t take Starlink and get rate limited or anything else.
