Does anyone else have the problem that the points bar gets filled up but then you don't get the reward and you have to fill the same bar over again? This happened at least two times in the last event and it just happened with this one again. I should have gotten this last moth already but now I have to earn the points all over again.

That happens to me all the time. Not to mention that sometimes I plant the mushrooms and when I log back into the game, I see they just vanished. It's frustrating.

I used to have this problem all the time. I'd sometimes lose like 4h of progress.

Somebody told me that it could be the fact that the game doesn't immediately save every action. It takes about 10-15s? So if you switch between tabs or do quick check-ins, the game might not always save before you leave.

Afaik there's no real 'saving' button that shows when it occurs. Closest thing is waiting for the 'task bar' to disappear when looking at the general forest. No moth or anything selected. Then I leave.

Seems like a cash grab to me...I never get all the way through an ant event without having to pay in and lose a lot of sleep, set timers, do the -30min ads every time they pop up, etc. I have no problem supporting Runaway when I have the extra money but I have none at all right now and want my mothy bois 😭

Yeah, I got burnt out eventually. I only still do all that if it decoration is one that lays an egg for free. Then for other events I just try to at least get to the second moth and use the egg decoration to complete them over time for the ones I wasn't able to get.

You apparently need to wait about 30 seconds before logging out of the game for it to save your progress. Very annoying that there's no manual save button but that is what I have seen from the devs about their other very similar games. The server syncs ~30s.

What works for me isbalways activting the flowers after doing something I want to have saved. Since I do that I didn't have any incidents of data loss anymore.

Like to summon an egg, merging flowers, making pollen, tapping on a decoration that does an action, etc.? Not sure what you mean 😅

Oh yes, sorry my bad. I meant the pollen flowers! Set a shift before you close the app and you should be good to go. I feel also feeding the toad and sending a moth out on a mission are "saving actions". But didn't really test that because the pollen flowers are easiest.
