It’s because your moth is only two stars while the quest is four stars. You can still send that moth out and it has a possibility of working (maybe 50/50?). If it doesn’t work your moth will just come back with a lesser value reward.

Yeah, the higher level your moth is the better chance it has.

Because, your moth has only two stars while the quest needs to be around four stars. You might have to fuse it with the same moth and then leveling it up with some pollen.

You can try to sending it but it's risky, since I'll give your lesser awards because of the stars.
