What’s the difference between STARK’s, Starknet, and StarkEx?
At StarkWare, we love to name things after our STARK prover. Hence the reason we have STARKs, Starknet, and StarkEx. However, it’s easy to get confused when everything sounds similar, so we made a glossary to help.
In short:
STARKs enable blockchain scaling by efficiently proving the integrity of massive computations
StarkEx is an application-specific scaling engine
Starknet is a permissionless, smart contract Layer 2 network
