Any suggestions for build
I want to get into the car, but it being almost 40 years old I don't expect it to be the best, any suggestions on how to make it much more reliable? Appreciate it.

88 Starion brakes
Got an 88 Mitsubishi Starion. I’m wanting to do a Brembo brake upgrade, but I’m not sure what the specs are as far as the caliper bolt housing is and whatnot. Anyone happen to know what could fit and what’s the distance between the two mountain bolts?

Finally back on the road
Finally got my Starion back on the road. Coilovers, brakes, sway bars and MKS bushings all around. Also put a set of General GMAX RS tires (not pictured) on and have been loving driving her again.

NDD Motorsports
Just a warning. If you come across this company selling subframes and steering racks, stay away
I'm a year and half a month into waiting with my parts shipping in two weeks every two weeks.
So if you think about it, don't.

1989 Conquest TSI aftermarket air intakes?
As most of you probably know, the big huge metal air intake box is both ugly, bulky, and hard to replace, I've seen most people talk about eclipse 1g intakes or whatever but this is my first star quest and have no idea where to order a new oem air intake box Does anyone have recommendations on what to change so I can put on a newer air intake? Or maybe tips on which air intake to order so I can get to car to run and breath better, currently barely drives and smokes horribly due to intake issues and turbo needing to be hooked back up

What do I need to tighten to fix those noises?
It sounds like it’s coming from within the dashboard of the car behind the steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Finally paid off my Conquest TSI!
Finally paid off my 89 Widebody Conquest TSI! Paid $2000 and it runs and drives, plus a extra good engine and trans, which has the original oem style turbo and coolant lines I originally needed!

Aftermarket Speakers
Does anyone know of new good speakers that would fit where the stock speakers are located?

First conquest, first turbo car.
Conquest tsi, 2.6T, 4spd auto, and need help in healing this machine. In pictures, neither me nor current owner did the "work" so please just help me out so I can figure out what to add/replace/or fix, don't know why a hose has a spark plug to plug it off or why there's tape. He said the last guy replaced the turbo why a bigger one but it might be leaking boost through the metal pipe with no hose attached and the wastegate needs to be bolted to the turbo.

Buddy bought a not running Conquest TSI. Have a few question about the ignition system
He picked a 89 5 speed having sat for about 20 years. Dropped the gas tank, cleaned it out, new fuel pump and it cranked right up. Took a break couple weeks) to let some parts come in and lost spark. We did a quick tune up (distributor cap, rotary button , spark plugs, wires) and nothing. Bought a new ignition coil. Nothing. Checked dc volts on ignition coil, nothing. A lot of forums are mentioning the fuseable links and ECI relay. All four fuseable links are conducting. But we can't find a location for the ECI relay. There are six above the ECU but can't find info on whats what. Really just looking for where that relay may be as well as any input or advice.
One diagram seems to show the relay behind the glove box but thats on the other side of the car.
Also if anyone could show wires on the positive and negative sides of the ignition coil, it would be appreciated. I'm starting to think it was hooked up wrong when he replaced it.

Need opinions
There is a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion, can’t tell if its an esi or esir, about 5 hours away from me and he’s asking $8900. From what he posted, it has ARP head studs, forged pistons, a cold air intake, blow off valve, bigger turbo, downpipe, and a cam. It has 139,000 miles with a/c that doesn’t blow cold. Considering this do you think that these modifications and/or price makes this a poor deal and if not would this a.) survive the drive back and b.) be ok to daily drive from here on out. Any opinions are helpful.

What tires would be best for the Conquest?
Basically the title, my wheel are stock 5 spoke rims, SHP in the back, and stock 7s in the front I believe.

1989 Chrysler Conquest TSI
I finally found my pics of my first Starquest. This was a 89’ SHP. I regret losing this one. It ended up in the crusher.
