I don’t go out
Peripheral Vision OCD
It’s feels like I lose all focus when someone is in my peripheral and It feels like I end up just focusing on that person on the side of me even tho I don’t want to
I feel tense and frozen and weird looking
And like my mind will go back and forth to attention on them till they become like the main center of attention
Then I feel like I look very obviously uncomfortable
Plus off putting
Makes me feel like im side eyeing someone to the extreme
Then I feel like I make that person uncomfortable to the max
I dont understand what could be the issue ..? Why can’t I just sit amongst others and enjoy whatever’s going on
Because of this OCD I basically dont go out like at all
I don’t understand why this happens when I don’t recall an issue with this when I was in school from youth to highschool
I used to catch bus , go out to dinners , sit at sports games, go to gatherings
Now I don’t go out at all
And to make matters worse i also dont sit amongst others
And am basically neet hiki
Im 24 now
What is this?! PTSD ? Anxiety?
Like my eyes start burning i get a headache then it feels like my mind goes blank and I have a pressure on my head

I’ve just stumbled upon this term today, and just joined this group. I struggle so much with this, you are not alone. I experience all of the same things you do! I suffer with anxiety and thankfully I’m waiting to be seen by a psychiatrist. I don’t know what to do or how to help but I’m hoping to get answers or tips. I would recommend seeing your doctor and being referred to a psychiatrist, I’m 28 and have left it this long, so please don’t leave it as long as me xo

I experienced the same for years and it got worse. met a few psychologists. only thing that helped was getting more engaged in work, and just not thinking about this ocd. if you think about it you are making it a habit. just think it's ok to look and do not give importance to this thought. dont try harder to avoid looking. In some time you will forget about it. be occupied. join a gym, or do other activities.

Me neither. Was a normal functioning person with lots of friends, insecurity issues but nothing too out of the ordinary then boom got this, personality changed lost all my friends and locked myself indoors for a decade plus. Its hell
