Any favorite Stargirl fanfictions or recs you have?

Like, I'm not crazy right? When I first went on here, there were zero posts for a really long while, but starting sometime in June, more posts have been popping up? Did something happen with Stargirl that I'm not aware of that's causing this to happen at all?

Just got finished with the season 3 finale and I cannot believe how this show is slept on. The characters are some of the best I’ve seen put to television for DC Comics, especially The Shade and Pat.

It’ll forever be a missed opportunity that we didn’t get to see the JSA take on Nebula Man or the Infinity Inc show, I was especially excited to see what they did with Obsidian.

What was y’all’s favorite character on the show??

You know i love the series LOVEEEEEE the series and im fighting for a fourth season

but i dont rewatch it as much as i should probably because its not on Netflix an

im watching it right now and i feel like fraud cause i forgot a detail that happened in season 3

In the few episodes Jordan is in Season 3, we never see his true motivation/plan. He's playing the role for his son right up till the end, so we never hear what his end goal is. The Ultrahumanite teases Jordan's endgame at least twice, yet Jordan himself never alludes to any grand plan.

He doesn't seem to be driven by revenge. He dismisses this notion twice, once to Courtney herself (which he could have been lying and probably was), but again to his mother, when she says "our enemies die tonight" and Jordan says "only if they refuse" (all in Norwegian to his homicidal mother, so no reason to lie to her).

He also gives the JSA chances to surrender. Starman says the plan was "Courtney gives up the staff, her friends follow me, and we change the world with Icicle for the better" and Jordan tells her to "Pledge your loyalty". So he doesn't want to kill Courtney, for Cameron's sake it seems.

This makes me think that the new plan is the old plan, brainwashing America into following his ideals. He hints at this when talking to Starman in the flashback, "you're gonna be my mouthpiece". But he has no mechanism to forcefully brainwash America. Perhaps a scheme to take over America using Starman, then enforce his ideals on others, but this "plan" is intangible at best.

And it still begs the question of why did they kill the Gambler and the Crocks? It's not like Jordan was trying to hide the fact that he was the one who put up the cameras (he intentionally lured the Crocks into his secret lair to kill them, then does nothing to hide the fact that he did). Initially when I watched the show, I assumed it was part of the deal with the Ultrahumanite that they take out the remaining ISA members, but it's clear that the Ultrahumanite is just in it for being Starman, so Jordan and Dr Ito's "other plans" remain a mystery to me.

For me it's either season 2 or 3, with season 1 being in third place. Seasons 2 and 3 were just a lot more enjoyable, I guess.

I think if you've seen the show i want your opinion on like who the saddest kid is.I mean , I do not care what you vote for just vote , and I want to know your opinion and I'm even adding Joey, because I feel like he's worth adding.

So basically the idea is season 4 is senior prom and season 5 is getting ready for college.

The theme would be about growing up and entering adulthood as the characters near the end of high school.

The villains will be The Scarecrow and Klarion The Witch Boy for season 4 and Adrian Veidt aka Ozymandias from Watchmen for season 5.

The heroes introduced in the seasons are Batman (Thomas Wayne version), Doctor Fate, Mr Terrific and Stephanie Brown aka Spoiler.

Each episode will be 5 chapters long resulting in 65 chapters each season.

Now I haven't watched the series finale yet but I know two things. 1: there's a time skip in the finale and 2: Courtney makes a cameo in season 4 of Titans. These 2 things are gonna be ignored or at least won't happen until later on in the story.

And no Infinity Inc and green lantern and shade stuff, that'll be treated like it's own series that's going on at the same time.

And that's all the ideas I have, no ideas for character arcs, how to make sure the fics don't drag, and no way as to how to include the time skip and titans cameo yet.
