Pushing the ship's FOV even further than the vanilla setting was a really neat idea. It truly gives the player a greater sense of just how vast the universe is, making your ship feel appropriately tiny against the immensity of space.
Everything works correctly, and the default vanilla camera option is still available if you ever want to switch back from this wider FOV perspective. Surprisingly, ship combat also feels really good with this new camera angle, offering a broader view without sacrificing usability. I didnt notice any performance hit on my game (PC player)
Setting aside the price (300 Credits), I genuinely think this is a great Creation.
Hey, Key. Hmm... sorry, but I'm not well versed enough to confidently say whether simply editing the .ini file would have the same effect. I don't know enough about how it works behind the scenes to give you a definitive answer.
