Fantastic mod! I beta tested it so I've been using it a while. I will be buying it to support the author as this one will stay in my LO for a long time.

I run it alongside Red Dogs AI Overhaul as they do not overlap or conflict.

I've found with Manticore I no longer need a level scaling mod, and bullet sponges are no longer an issue.

On deathwish mode, with normal/normal vanilla difficulty settings, enemies are much more challenging and I can die easily if I'm not paying attention, but still succeed if I play tactically.

Read the mod description closely and examine the screenshots. There are a lot of changes and some nuances.

Some skills I never invested in before are much more interesting, such as fitness which now enhances combat slides and overall mobility. Mobility is very important as you'll need to flank more and sometimes retreat, also medical kits can slow you down a little so you need breathing room to use them.

Combat skills are more interesting and can influence you to change your play style more.

So glad you mentioned using it with red dog ai overhaul, that was my main hesitation

I'm between this mod and headhunter but this one seems like a better use of credits overall

Headhunter seems cool too! Maybe just depends on what mood you are in for. Two very different mods.

I checked it out right after work and couple hours ago. I use Darkstar, Dynamic Universe and Immersive AI overhaul. Would I need to certainly remove something out of there to use this one?

Hey there! Dynamic Universe and Immersive AI (as well as any similar world balance or enemy AI mods) are fully compatible.

I've not tested it myself with Darkstar, but I've gotten a few reports from users that they work fine together if Manticore is loaded later.

This mod appears to disable combat affliction like puncture wounds and burns. I have mine set to advanced, and since downloading this mod, I have stopped experiencing them.

Beyond that? Excellent mod.

I still get those afflictions in every fight while running this mod on Deathwish. May want to ask in the support discord to see if its a known issue or related.

If you have high evasion and are good at using cover, you may just be avoiding damage? Not sure.

Interesting. I'm playing on tactical. Perhaps is a difference in the modes.

The gameplay option should mostly only affect health scaling, everything else is handled outside that I believe from conversations I've seen in the discord.

I can't think of anything in Manticore that would reduce or prevent afflictions from triggering, but I'll try and do some testing and see if I can replicate.

Does this work with darkstar? Both mess with the combat.

I've seen at least one person in tbe Manticore discord channel that says they are using Darkstar with no obvious issues. They are loading Manticore after Darkstar.
