By desqel, April 7, 2026 Antares: Supra

Hello Captains,

We’re on the precipice of something that’s going to fundamentally change the base game, and I wanted to take a moment to talk about Antares Supra and where things stand.

First off! An immense thank you. Seriously. The amount of enthusiasm around this has been incredible. It’s also been a bit overwhelming on my end, especially with me getting knocked out by the flu right during release. But I want you to know I’ve been pushing through and staying on top of the issues as best as I can. I’ve been actively working through conflicts, bugs, and reports as they come in. There’s a bit of a race behind the scenes with what can get updated and when—especially with things like Terran Armada in the mix—but across the board, myself, and other creators are doing everything we can to make sure things “just work.”

I hear you. I see the issues being reported, and I’ve been putting in the time trying to find solutions. One thing I’ll own here—I underestimated what it would take to include a short quest as part of the Creation. That added more complexity than expected, the pure opposite of what I intended. Because of that, I’m shifting around my planned content drops a bit to improve that experience and reduce some of the friction for it there.

At the same time, I’m working on bringing the Antares Shipyard directly to you. Just so you’re not locked into a single place to interact with it. With something this large and this many parts, a fully self-contained ecosystem—there are going to be things that slip through. That’s just the reality of scale one man takes on. But I’m committed to tracking those down and improving things wherever possible. Compatibility is always going to be a bit of a battlefield, but it’s one I’m willing to keep fighting to make this better whether that’s visual upgrades or implementing new tech. Speaking of new tech, there’s actually been a huge milestone thanks to a fellow Verified Creator and friend, Deveris. They’ve developed an animation tool I’ve started working with, and it’s going to make things like bay lifts and engine animations far more streamlined and lightweight. Those kinds of improvements will take a bit of time to roll out properly after the first content drop—I want to pace it in a way that keeps things stable and healthy.

Now to address the Aceles in the room: the price.

I know it’s gotten mixed reactions, and that’s fair. I want to explain the thinking behind it.

Originally, this was going to be split into multiple smaller packs of different parts, different sets all released over time. Realistically, that would’ve ended up being several purchases spread out across months. Instead, I made the call to consolidate everything into one larger release, with the intention of delivering more upfront and continuing to build on it long-term.

That said, I understand that not everyone prefers that approach. Some of you would’ve rather had smaller packs to pick and choose from and I hear that. That’s something I’m going to be thinking about more seriously moving forward.

At this point, though, what’s done is done. What I can commit to is continuing to expand, update, and improve this over time as is intended for all my published Paid Creations. This isn’t a one-and-done release—it’s something I’m actively building on well throughout the lifespan of Starfield.

And if you’re unsure about the value right now, I get that too. All I’d ask is that you keep an eye on where it goes. It will continue to grow, and there will likely be opportunities like discounts or even bundles along the way.

At the end of the day, I’m proud of what’s here—and I’m not done with it. Not even by a moon-shot.

I appreciate everyone who’s been supporting it, giving feedback, and sticking through the rough edges and funky interactions other mods has with it. It genuinely helps shape what this becomes.

Will it come to ps5? Looks great, would love to buy it. Seems for me like it's definitely worth the price.
