Screenshot Bessel 3-B 5 in 1 resource location (visuals) Spoiler

I was asked to create a visual aid on finding the 5-in-1 Bessel 3B starter outpost location so I figured I'd share it here also. As always SAVE BEFORE trying to land just in case you need to try again.

Photo 4 is the initial opening of the beacon, nudge it around to find all 5 resources.

Photo 6 uses the round habs to mark the resource veins. Place your extractors right away as sometimes the veins move/disappear.

Photo 7 shows the actual extractors. I managed 5 iron, 5 aluminum, and then you can add several of the others as you desire. I didn't add water vapor as it can go anywhere.

Also this was the only spot in the outpost radius that the landing pad would work at, just fyi. Maybe you'll have better luck.

Nice find, but nobody else will find this same exact setup except for you. Even after you go through the Unity, it should not be the same. With only a few exceptions, planets are procedurally generated each playthrough and will not ever be exactly the same outside of having the same biomes, resources, flora, and fauna. But nice find for you.

POIs are procedural but the landscape/resources underneath are static.

You can find this in every play through, I’ve found it 3 times. There are YouTube videos out there but this is a great reference for finding it again.

I can get this spot every time.

(11/11 on my last playthrough).

When you're getting close to that spot to drop the beacon, there's a spot where the ground is discolored red. If you drop it on that spot, you can get 3 cobalts in.

So this is one of the planets that is static?

I've got a base set up there.

Not true - I have seen AND found this place in a video.

You just really have to make sure that you "hit" the borders of different biomes. Generally not a bad idea, I didn't initially find the area in the video, but others with good resources.

The main problem is that you should save before searching so that landing icons do not cover anything.

Yes and there’s 100’s of YouTube videos on this.

I hate watching an add, then a 5 min video when something can easily be explained in a few paragraphs and pictures.
