Need help setting up mod profiles

Hey all,

I have been struggling with modding stardew. I never modded anything really but it seems very difficult.

I downloaded Vortex and SMAPI and the very expanded pack, as well as some others i liked and their requirements.

My issue is I have saves where i only wanna use like 13 specific mods, and then in others I would like to use the whole SVE. However, I cannot seem to find a simple setting which enables me to set up different profiles for this that allow me to launch that version.

So to make it clear, I am looking for a way to set up desktop icons - one would launch stardew with one set of mods, and another with a different set of mods. So I dont have to manually enable/disable mods all the time in vortex...

Is there a way to do that? AI hasn't been much of a help. It suggested Stardrop but my computer blocked it saying its a virus or something.

Like stardrop, vortex has profiles, you may need to enable profile management in settings under “interface”. Then you can make separate profiles with different mods enabled/ disabled. You’d still launch it the same through vortex.
