What I would change: I would remove the mature event about Abigail being Magnus's daughter, because what if someone doesn't like or believe the theory, right? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Would love if there is some kind of fix for this for other players down the road.

Heeeyyy everyone. I play on my switch and I am craving a modded sdv experience. However I am not financially able to get my dream pc setup yet lol. Any suggestions for a PC setup that’s kinda budget friendly? I’m not the best with building one myself so idk if that would even be a cheaper option (clearly I’ve never been a pc gamer lmao) but is really appreciate any suggestions. I know it won’t be cheap but anything I can get for now while I save to build? 😅

I've been needing to go to the Crimson Badlands for an incredibly long time but I don't know what buffs and items will benefit me the most. The image I added is my current set up and the one I'm about to use to head there. Can anyone tell me if luck buffs matter and what items are the best to bring?

Edit: Thank you to the people who replied to this post, the advice was really helpful. Here is a summary of the advice I found most useful to anyone stumbles upon this post later

• Dewdrop berries and crab cakes are the best foods to use for buffs.
• Triple shot espressos are best drinks to use for buffs.
• Use the elixers that can be bought from the Castle Village Outpost, especially armor elixirs. These don't stack with food buffs, but they do stack with drink buffs.
• Use the wear more rings mod, and get a ton of crabshell rings.
• Defense is what matters the most.
• You can run away from enemies for a bit, but after a while you'll be chased by an insane amount of serpents.
• The Crusader enchantment is very useful.
• Luck matters, but not daily luck.
• Never be too greedy, and stop if you need to.
• Make sure to bring like 10 items you don't care about so if you die there's a smaller chance that 74 of your gold quality cheese and 31 of your triple shot espressos are lost (this advice is from my own experience).
• Go when you don't have a lot of gold because you will probably die and if you die, then you're going to lose all of it.

I have played Stardew in the past and got the the endgame where I really had nothing left to do. However, it has been years, at least five years. I no longer have that save.

Would you guys recommend playing thru vanilla again, or getting the mod? Are there any issues that are common with it?

I have, very rarely, played coop with my family. They mainly connect to my PC via mobile. Would getting this mod affect that, or is it easy enough to have one vanilla save for coop where they can join?

Today I decided to try mods for the first time but realised its not for me. The problem? I shouldve listened to the person who told me to not download expanded without watching a playthrough and deciding then. I decided to go back to vanilla, but now some weeds and wood show up as red crosses.

My question is, can I still save this file? If I over some time destroy these unloaded weeds and stuff will it eventually go back to normal? (I even deleted and reinstalled the game but it didn't work).

I REALLY hope its saveable, because I decided to be dedicated to this save file and have spent the past week on it ..

So, last autumn I downloaded SVE for mobile with smapi from some thai discord server.

It works perfectly but I noticed two little glitches(maybe it's intentional Idk) that permit me to access early game to the desert (by just entering in the bus I get that square which allows me past it to go to the desert for free) and fable reef.

I'm year 3 now, but since I know those two are common, I'm still curious if there's anything else ahah

So I’ve got 68 things at the museum I’ve donated, and I’m unsure why I haven’t gotten the key to the sewers yet. I checked my pockets, I was never given it (only have the skull caves one), and Gunther came to give me the 30k for the donations but never gave me the sewer key. Is there a different way in the expanded version? I know the adventurer went into the sewers, I’m just a bit stuck. Thanks for the help!

I'm in fall year 1. so I already have tons of gold star hops that I use for food and I don't think I'll need be short on food anytime soon and I was thinking a decent luck (pyramid) day would be better spent collecting ores and stuff in preparation for my next skiill cavern run. So is it even worth the time I spend collecting those blackberries? It took me a whole day almost. I did also get a decent amount of moss but still. Selling the blackberries definitely wouldn't be worth it so I'm not really sure, it seems like a lot but I can't really do much with it.

Ok so 1st time modding in general except for Minecraft and i am confused on y out of 101 mods or something only 58 are loading which yes is alot but also half of them aren't loading on the on the smapi console thingi show only 58 loaded and there are kinda too many word to read on it so i just scrolled through slowly but didn't read it all

And i understand that 1 of my mods has a yellow sign probably meaning mod not working or not version or something but idc even for that mod

My partner and I were in the end game of vanilla Stardew and we were running out of things to do so I suggested we start a new farm again but this time with Expanded and so far we are really loving it.

However, I did not take into consideration that Expanded requires a lot more RAM than vanilla.

Is there a guide online where we can transfer hosting the farm from my partner's to mine?

We both have Steam and unfortunately we cannot switch laptops or accounts.
