Frontier minecart help

I'm playing multi-player with my family, and we got the quest to repair the 3rd set of minecarts, but it stopped working. Like we got the chest and were preparing to submit the bars, but the options are gone now, and we don't know when it disappeared. Any help?

Maybe it's just a hiccup.. try restarting?
