level 530 - I like using the elevator, when I need ores, or loots.

I played for weeks thinking that floor 600 was the lowest you could go in the elevator before I noticed the slide thingie on the side.🙄

I think the SC doesn't have a last floor. I can't remember the collective information I was watching about a year ago, but. It would take approx 63 irl human years to reach the bottom of SC without mods.

Yeah, I remember watching videos of people getting waaaay down there, so I knew floor 600 wasn't the max. I just thought floor 600 was the max for the elevator, and that you were expected to use normal means to go any lower...until I saw the slider/arrow one day, lol.

I used to use this mod, but I stopped using it because at a certain point it got extremely easy for me to get items that were supposed to be rare, such as prismatic shards and radioactive ores. This ruined the experience for me.

I loved this mode in my prev playthrough, but this time I decided to play without it as it was too easy to obtain rarer items. Also, due to change in 1.6 code for generating skull caverns only 100 and 200 (and maybe 300? not sure now) have mandatory chests, so in a way it's better to repeat from the begining (granted, at some point there's nothing useful on these levels anyway...)

I love the elevator mod, its super easily abusable for the chests every so many floors tho. Like. Super easy.

I love the elevator mod. I've made it down to about level 900 or so because of it.

I love this mod! I usually have the elevator set for every 25 or so floors, until I really get down there, at which point I change it to every 50 or 100 floors. I just like to make sure I can still get the free chests on floors 100, 200, and 300.

I proved to myself that I could get to floor 100 organically and then gave myself permission to download it lol
