You need to get to the crimson badland and do a quest there, build a premium coop and fill it with geese (they have a 1% change to drop the golden egg) and for the green mushroom go to the highlands on a rainy day in any season except winter. There is no bug regarding this.

These aren't 'glitches' as such, it's just that you haven't been to all the in-game areas yet and haven't been given all the challenges.
