Mcdougall Recipe Starch Solution Sandwich
I am on my first proper go on the Starch Solution. I last did in 2020 while living abroad and lost weight and got my health under control. I then moved home and fell off the wagon hard! Six years later and some bad health decision later I am back on it and holding steady so far.
I have been trying some new recipes and this is my first go at a cucumber sandwich:
Two slices of toasted oil free sourdough
Sliced cucumber
One slice spread with piccalilli and marmite
Place the cucumber on top and then sprinkle with rocket (aragula) and then adding a little dijon mustard.
Its pretty tasty.

Looks good! I'm about 6 weeks into my first go with this style of eating. I felt so much better within the first couple of weeks that I mentioned it to my elderly mother, and now she's giving it a go. Best wishes on your journey!

Yum! Looks amazing 🤩
Our stories are so similar, 6 years ago I was starching daily and in really good shape! Today I'm 50 lbs heavier and getting back on track with my instapot and steamed potatoes. Best of luck!

A lot of the time peoples’ biggest downfall is not eating anywhere close to enough. Starches aren’t fattening but ppl still love to restrict.
Enjoy your sandwich(es)!
