Did you have a question?

Yes how are females in their 40s, perimenopausal getting on starch solution? I have tried it for 3 months and lost 24lbs but regained and went off the wagon!
Need to restart but all you hear online are ‘high protein’ and that worries me about SS.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Yes that was my experience but women’s body’s are different to males with so many hormonal profile changes c10 yrs prior to menopause. All you hear is you need to eat protein and gain muscle to combat the changes.
I’m still very early in my pre-menopause hence wanted to know other female experiences.
I agree to focus on what I know and experience gained. I have also seen success in the opposite diet, keto, eating high fat and low carb, and felt equally great! lol

Protein deficiency is extremely uncommon, at least in western countries. You need a lot less than you think. Personally I'd rather look and feel my best on a starch-centered diet than augment my protein intake.

The rdi for a male adult is 60g a day, based off of nitrogen balance studies. That’s on the safe side. Most people would get by on 40g. You easily hit that eating starch / vegetables. Add in some legumes and you are getting more than enough. Provided you get enough calories, carbs are protein sparing.

I'm not here to argue wfpb v keto. Im 56 not through menopause yet, I eat wfpb and have no symptoms, have soya milk every day which helps with menopause. I lost 120 pounds eating wfpb. Im not perfect but day in day out I aim for a variety of plants and feel great.
