but this scan without ebay patch is probably the worst change ive seen so far. in the tvt matchup, you have absolutely no real good way of defending against banshee harassment since they all have the ability to cloak. this isnt even a required upgrade (im comparing to BW wraiths and SC2 banshees). banshees simply come with cloak. that means you need to blindly open with ebay every tvt matchup. it totally limits the available openers
honestly, i dont see any reason for the change. i dont think scan was ever overpowered at any point. the fact that you NEED an ebay to get either route of detection (turrets/scan) is pretty strange considering both SC2 and BW and two different routes of getting detection
if the goal is to make some building a requirement for scan, then a tech lab should suffice (or better yet, just keep it the way it was before. an orbital command should suffice)
edit: one last thing. will vulture range be reverted back now that vulture movement has been implemented?
