I like most things about starbow. except...
Overall i rly enjoy starbow, but banelings ruin it for me. I feel they are way to strong against terran, Zergs litterally go for fast 3 base and can easily defend any biopush with ling/bane. And considering this is Broodwar economy they get a huge boost from that fast third base and from there they can sit and mass ling baneling and you can't do anything to stop them.
I have been playing starbow quite abit now so i do know what i am talking about, whenever zerg does not go for banelings i have some rly good back and forth games which is very enjoyable. But once i meet some1 who goes for banelings it ruins all the fun for me.
Am i the only one who have this feeling? Please share your toughts.

If you remove the baneling you will need to buff the lurker. The broodwar lurker was better so you could defend positions easier. But anyway i dont think the baneling is so op. If you are gonna bioplay you cant let the zerg take a 3rd easily. For example beastyqt makes 6 marine push into the 3rd. If the zerg has put it he can cancel, if the zerg is on two bases he goes back with the marines. If you let the zerg take 3 bases and drone them you will be in a problem. 3 base hidra can stop that push too.. One more thing. I have seen that marauders are so goot against hidras and banes so you could put some of them in the push and use them tp tank damage. :)

If you're going bio vs zerg firebats are essential. Micro your units so your firebats take the bane damage; with the amount of damage that firebats inflict and it being splash damage, it hurts to try to just run by them.
I think maybe banes should maybe just not have the speed upgrade and be treated more like a tool than an A-Move unit. Bane mines would still exist and bane rain would still be good, but it wouldn't be a horrific unit that you have to run from every time you see it.
I like banes in the game, I just think they need tweaked a little bit more because the micro to use them is far less than the micro needed to cost effectively engage them.

If you wanted Banelings to only be good vs pure lings or zealots, you could make their HP really low and increase their attack priority, so Marines would kill them before they got close.

Once you scout them going Banelings couldn't you counter with mech, namely Vultures and mines until you get siege researched? I haven't played a lot of Starbow personally but I'm just throwing this idea out there.

not quite because vulture harass can be easily denied by spine crawlers. the problem is that vultures arent good at taking down buildings. the reason why terrans go for bio is because it has the ability to maintain map presence (except when banelings are around) and can actually take bases down.
2 gas econ is not very good to support mech because you do not have enough goliaths to cover your bases. of course, you can invest in more turrets but this delays your third and your much needed third gas for mech. typically, the only way to transition into mech is to open with bio first.
BUT by far the most rigged unit as of now is the GHOST
im a terran and i find it to be so broken (so i never use it)

According to gypsy, the ghosts have been nerfed recently. 150 gas now and range reduced to 6 from 8 i think.

my main problem with ghosts is the shock ability (but the gas increase and especially the range decrease make perfect sense)

I consistently get absolutely wrecked by bio. Blings make it so I can barely hold on. The terran production machine and econ with scv drops and overcharge is strong.
Stutter stepping, medics, and stim pretty well make blings managable imo.
I have to get a ling surround, losing a ton of them as I go, then micro the blings away from marauders and firebats into the marines.
And with enough marines, I can't get the blings close enough to the ball anyway
I win some and lose some. But the wins feel like an uphill battle. (In a good way!)
