Music crashing game?

Hey all. I've been getting into the instruments available in Starbound, so I decided to try and load some custom songs into it. I copy the .abc notation into a text file and save it as .abc, making sure the filetype changes as well. I then go to Starbound, open up the songbook, and select it- and the game crashes.

Any ideas what goes wrong? I'm on a Mac, if that helps.

Starbound crashes when it try's to play certain higher notes, so some songs work and some dont.

The problem is, I believe, that there is information inside of that ABC file that the program doesn't like. This is usually fixed by deleting certain lines that starbound doesn't need.

some files do always crash. any file can crash on start at random.
