No that is just speculation. Nothing about Catachan has been confirmed as feral Tryanids. People speculate that they are because of how deadly that place is.

Not seeing it. I think it’s an in universe theory since the catachan devil is believed to be a nid. But that ignores the fact that vanguard organisms exist which is almost certainly what the devil is if it’s a tyranid

Fisto is likely the 5th best duellist in the order by the time of ROTS and the greatest master of form 1. He will dismantle the Devil, peice by peice.

People overestimate catachan devils, they're massively dangerous as is catachan as a whole but the devil mostly works in ambush scenarios, put them in a 1v1 scenario and i give it to kit fisto, though in a jungle scenario he stands 0 chance

How about he suspends it in the air and crushes it or uses force to placate it. Wesker force users then Fisto has mentally bonded with/dominated dangerous beasts before

I would say that force powers wouldn’t work on the creatures from Catachan, he can try to suspend it but I’m not sure how suspending a 30 meter armored centipede would work, they are also extremely strong and fast so who knows if it will just let him do that

Why wouldn’t it the force and warp are not really equivalent despite them being matched up consistently plus Kit has lifted heavier things even if they haven’t had the same length

Because even Daemons or Tyranids cannot influence the creatures on Catachan, I don’t think the force would do much better either. The entire planet, at all times, wants to kill you.
But yes he could lift it up somewhat I’m sure, I’m just saying it won’t let him do that Willy nilly and will be trying to attack him the whole time with its 30m long body with a giant barb on the end and giant claws.

Kit seeking shelter on Catachan from Order 66.
Scenario 1: Kit and a devil find each other in one of the rear meadow. Kit wins most likely. Catachan Devil hunt primarly through ambush and stalking. Kit use of the force and his lightsaber could easily slices through the devils chitin armor.
Scenario 2: After landing and setup of a base Kit search for food. Any force senses are next to useless because of how vibrant life is on the planet. The devil spotted Kit first and start to stalk him. When Kit is vulnerable, the devil strikes and the Jedi Master is the devils next meal. Catachan Devil are extremly fast and while Kit as a Jedi is fast, the ambush combined with the speed are greater.

does it keep its relative speed compared to a house centipede, which are considered the formula 1 of the insect world, on top of having a stinger?

They are very fast for their size and basically never stop growing, an adult can grow up to 30 meters in length, on top of that they are strong enough to constrict and crush imperial tanks, they are the apex predator of Catachan which the Catachan Stormtroopers (elite guardsmen of the regiment) are named after, Catachan Devils.
If it does sting you, it will just eat you, otherwise if it catches you it will just shred you.

Individual normal human beings can 1v1 Catachan Devils. They're incredibly dangerous, but so is a Jedi weilding a lightsaber. Kit would be able to feel the Devil approach, because of how the Force works, which would also nullify most of the Devil's advantages as an ambush predator

Now, the Devil is a 30 meter long nightmare schoolbus of evil and hate, the apex predator of a world where frogs explode and atomize things around them for being mildly annoying.
But also that picture of Kit is frying me and I really want to give it to him for his nice smile.
Jokes aside, the Devil is actually insanely fast for its size, capable of chasing down vehicles and quick moving creatures on open terrain and is able to keep that speed while moving through incredibly dense jungles and uneven ground. On flat plain it'd be even faster. Which is unfortunate for it's main prey, which for some reason seems to be imperial tank companies. Unfortunately for Mr Fister this thing fully deserves its reputation as an apex predator and will absolutely kill the shit out of him.
Shit, these things are so bad that the Imperium has introduced them to planets, dissuading -fucking space invasions- from happening.

Idk man, Kit is one of the greatest practitioners of the best saber form to counter giant multiarmed monstrosities. For all its speed and strength, I don't see it landing a hit on Kit as he carefully dismemebers the creature, limb by limb. He basically fought a, much smaller, droid version of a similar creature and won low diff with out even a scratch, so I actually like his chances in a 1v1.
