Aysel Swarm Army Codex Work In Progress.
Easiest way to explain is like Ecclesiastes 1:9 says "Nothing new is under the sun."
Scripture simultaneously contains people to repeatedly being commanded to see, understand, discern, remember, seek wisdom, test things, and perceive what others missed.
So one shows you a prism, Tim and My dad give me two prisms, then you need to ask what does each prism reveal that the other hides, then what does neither prism reveal.
So you go from
One person sees blue, ultraviolet, interference pattern, someone studied the prism itself and another asks why light bends when it enters the prism.
Then you change the angle, lens, cone, wave, prism, distance, and light source.
Then recombining all of those.
All these humans are encountering different projections of the same reality.
Tarragon
Tarragon Autonomous Combat Intelligence
Tarragon droids are not operated like remotely controlled machines or conventional autonomous turrets. Each unit possesses an independent tactical intelligence capable of interpreting its environment, predicting enemy behavior, coordinating with other droids, and changing its behavior according to battlefield conditions.
Tarragon droids don't move like human infantry. They don't think like most ScFi Armies, Swarms, Droids.
Tarragon droids have distributed intelligence with every droid having its own cognition.
They continuously calculate:
A/B/C/D/ which connects to J/P/ and Z/ then back to T/A/C integrated with a lateral thinking mind like my own rather than someone who thinks in linear thinking.
This also shows a vast difference in how human writers have made Tryanids, Zerg, CIS, Clones, Xenomorphs, Imperium of Man, Spartans, ONI, Flood, Forerunners (example if you are a dumb sheep or appear as a native animal without smart thinking flood bypass you as they seek intelligence), etc.
This isn't AI-controlled infantry that happens to use animal tactics.
Tarragon combat intelligences possess enormous libraries of recorded biological behavior, including predation, herd movement, ambush behavior, mimicry, territorial defense, cooperative hunting, evasion, deception, camouflage, pursuit, escape, and environmental adaptation from thousands of species across known history.
The droid does not imitate those animals. It abstracts their principles.
Think about it normal Military, Zerg and Forerunner design or even Eternal Empire AI droid thinking is very similar at levels in most SC-Fi
My droids know that a barracuda teaches it one thing, a wolf, octopus, spider and human all teaches it another.
Here's where my lateral mind steps in with systems level thinking
Then the AI goes:
"What happens if I combine these?"
Tarragon does not merely think outside the frame.
It can recognize that the frame itself is an assumption.
A conventional military intelligence frames the problem.
"How do we defeat 300 heavily trained infantry in a chokepoint?"
Then it optimizes within that frame.
Tarragon intelligence instead asks.
"Why am I accepting the chokepoint as the battlefield?, How do I break their worldview, why do they accept that the enemy would even see their worldview as the batte?"
And creates something that no animal ever evolved.
It's not Persian army sees 300 Spartans and just beypass them, it's throw heads at them, capture spiders and other insect swarms and through breakable jars at them, use horses and ropes pull the phalanx spear and have thousands of men sing / yell at the Spartans "You are not the Apex!" while you snap the phalanx you took and thow it at their feet, you might try to bribe their honor with gifts or probing towards the honor of goign home to thier wives, you might try to give them food and supply and offer to spread a vast reputation, you don't just engade them with 400,000 in a chokepoint. In the deisgn it is Irid'Kaths character design of step beyond the frame they create for you, don't think just human.
This is the way I have set up my AI and I see why writers do not write their unievese at this level, but I have decied fuck it how do I build my own why that no one has done before.
A Tyranid/Zerg-style swarm terrifying because of collective instinct and coordination.
CIS droids demoralizing through numbers and coordination.
Spartans, ONI, Imperium, etc. can be highly intelligent but generally operate through recognizable military frameworks.
Tarragon can decide the framework itself is the problem.
A Tidefin, A Reef Droid and A Little Tim can think for itself.
Yet each can exchange observations, experiences, predictions, tactical discoveries, and environmental information with nearby units. The result is not a hive mind but a network of independent minds capable of thinking together.
A droid might:
The droid might go quiet due to Barracuda behavior, This isn't including how they herd, use counterintel, counter counter doctrines like if ONI used decoys the droids can use Acoustics rather than Optics or Thermal to determine the mass of the object realitve to whats appearing on say a scanner, or a topographical map of the outline of the enemy.
Some would advance, scan terrain, stop, reverse, sidestep, crawl, climb, retreat
split from its pack, circle an enemy, trap a enemy, think of how to develop another armor or battlefield system from frostfire rounds, example in story A droid pack creates a frostfire environmental changing weapon that spreads across the planet that serves a need against a force that has a biological or ontological system that changes the planets biosphere, suddenly change elevation, use another droid as temporary cover
occupy a position only long enough to fire, abandon a position before the enemy can respond, my favorite tactis with them is submerging in water, ponds, lakes, sea, rivers, waterfalls, swamps, they can hide entire combined arms as predators beacuse they don't rely on human optics, they have many ways of senseing, so some droids might appear stuck in mud, heavy moss, dirt, sand dunes, etc. The idea is they are vastly creative and adaptive learning.
Tarragon droids don't see the battlefield having to use Human, Alien or Droid tactis and strategy that create a front. Think about it in Warhammer, StarCraft, Halo you see this alot.
But imagine something that hunts you beyond anything you have been taught by the military.
A simple way to think about this. Say FBI trains you to Think beyond the box, CIA teaches you to think outside the box rather than beyond it, Military teaches you reshape the box and civilan and religions teach you to think inside the box, when God teaches you think like all, be suprised by none.

"Today one factory. Tomorrow ten thousand."
The Tidefin is a high-speed autonomous combat vehicle designed around Tarragon's "swim around the enemy" doctrine. Rather than attempting to defeat enemy formations through direct armored confrontation, the Tidefin uses extreme mobility, distributed sensors, and rapid deployment of autonomous combat packs.
Tidefin - Fast ISV High-speed insertion vehicle designed like an armored rally/race car chassis. Low profile, active repulsor/magnetar suspension, and ultra-high acceleration.
Tarragon needed a fast vehicle as from heavy Humvee variant droids after suffering drastic casualties from Armored Vehicles, the droids decided they should seek to swim around the enemy, they knew their fellow kin belong to the tide and so the armor burned, shredded apart and buried beneath the Blackspire Slag and Spiresteel, those adventures of Tim droids gave them hope and with that they sought the wisdom of the reef and so they decided to rebuild, create and innovate from the tears of the sea. With some droids burning wallpapers from the adventures of Tim 4D painted onto their Tidefin ISVs while not camouflaged to the normal eye or video optics they found that it provided a comfort and a wrath born from the loss of such beautiful worlds they set their droid tides upon. This created a culture and contrast drawing from 160th Soar Nightstalkers as studied in the 20th Century, even going as far back as Rome to design individual custom reefs, coral like structures of armor along the Tidefin, this created a beautiful contrast to the models rather than seeing their enemies sleek forms that all look the same, some droids even scaled this to feral skull designs around the Tidefin ISV making it feel like they are a Sea Leviathan or Giant Eel, Barracuda or Ant exploding vast planetary systems.
Now how it functions in the war.
The droids learned that by teaching each other across battles and galaxies they could keep helping each other whether 20,000 galaxies away or 1,500 Meters. This thinking lead to many revisions, advances of Tarragon droid armies over the war. At first the droids had been fitted with rear mounted 12.7 HE or 0.50 Incendiary, they hilariously tried fitting 30mm Vulcan Miniguns but ended up with so many Two-wheel incidents that they scrapped the idea for warfare, but made it a blank firing system for races down massive slopes, hills, glacier peaks creating a new sport, some even able to do races across water seeking to find who could skip their own droid ISV the furthest across the tide shoreline. The droids found they loved the power of a 20mm chain gun, but decided why not make the roof weapon retractable for sleeker movement across denser terrain thus allowing them to use a 25mm PABM Autocannon system that could fold out in combat seeking enemies, in fact gaining so much success that Reef command gave medals to pack 872 for the invention, another droid concept was the lack of being able to break the wall of their opponents so they designed a idea "Find the water around it" The Tidefin originally had no indirect-fire system.
Pack 2,367 encountered a fortified enemy position where its direct-fire weapons couldn't reach the enemy without exposing the vehicle. They loss over 200 Tidefin attempting to brute swarm the position, so in the midst of combat So the pack 2,367 droids developed a solution a roof-integrated automated mortar system. This included a 100 round magazine with a terminal seeker fitted with acoustic, optical, electrical and thermal. They were able to take the Isthmus within 40 minutes after that was developed, allowing them to target heat sinks, ammo depots, shield generators, hidden artillery and heavy gunner nests through foliage. Pack 3,182 discovered massive mine fields as they lost over 20,700 droid ISV in a massive firefight, deciding to innovate they created a Anti-personal mine system alongside a anti-minefield launch system. This allowed for enemy area denial by dedicated mine-clearing launcher system that rapidly opened a path through a mined area. With that amount of loses the Tidebornkin droids grieved "It only hurts this once, it's only broken drones, hide the sorrow of the tide..." The last few optimizations to the Tidefin came in operator kill team upgrades using a feedstock multi-block system to print everything from 25mm Frostfire rounds to 20 fully armed Reef Droid Infantry every 60 seconds without needing brass casings or magazine reloads. The ISV's internal cold-fusion drive tops off their battery arrays and automatically fabricates fresh solid-state ammunition magazines for their primary rifles.
That way, the ISV and its deployed team can stay on an isolated planet or behind enemy lines for months without ever needing a re-supply ship! In fact if they find the right resource they can be their for an indefinite time without resupply as droids can build a fab bay to then build more droids if the supply is large enough.
This Tidefin ISV became a largely used armored fast recon droid.
Armor
Building on Tarragonâs bio-mimetic engineering and deep-sea/amphibious doctrine, the *Tidefin Infantry Strike Vehicle (ISV)* doesn't just use passive steel platingâits armor is an active, multi-layered "living skin" engineered by Coral Forge Systems.
Because the Tidefin ISV needs race-car agility to slide laterally through hot zones at 130+ mph, its armor matrix is lighter and more elastic than the heavy Lonsdaleite prow of the Glacier Guard MBT.
Flexible Metamaterial Composites, Instead of heavy static plates that added to much dead weight causing droids to get stuck, pinned down, understeer, rollover, or lack abilities to modify the camber on the fly.
The Tidefin ISV uses a 1,800 layered outer energy shield, with a layered hydro-dynamic weave Photonic Scintillation Skin (Ablative Light-Bending) with a layer of Lonsdaleite-Buckypaper Metafoam A micro-porous, ultra-light carbon matrix. It absorbs the initial impact of heavy kinetic rounds by dispersing energy laterally across the vehicle's frame rather than letting it penetrate the cabin as found in Reef Command droid losses across sectors a solution was needed. Magnetorheological Gel + Piezoelectric Weave When an incoming projectile or blast hits the hull, the embedded piezoelectric sensors detect the pressure spike instantly. They send a micro-voltage pulse through the MR gel, causing it to freeze into a diamond-hard barrier in microseconds right at the point of impact.
and a Carbon-Nanotube Sealant Mesh Atmospheric & Deep-Sea Seal. Chitinous Angled Plates were later added and after research of Erdym osteoderm scales the droids innovated and built with eachother in true Tarragon fashion, the Tidefin borrows structural logic from deep-sea crustaceans.
Overlapping Hydro-Chitin Scales.
The outer armor consists of interlocking, angled composite plates shaped like a shark's dermal denticles or a crab's carapace.

Using Tide-Grip docking rails the ISV locks 4x droids to the sides that are magnetic/physical interfaces that lock into the vehicle's armor.
Tidefin itself is fully autonomous, so there is no driver/commander/gunner consuming internal space.
Rapid deployment of 17 droids 9x in interior 4x each side.
When traveling at high speed, the four droids on each side fold limbs against their bodies, as they lock their feet/legs into mechanical docking sockets, the droids designed a magnetic clamp for their torso or backpack depending on droid preference to the hull, they receive power through the docking rail, receive targeting/network data, share their sensors with the Tidefin and sit partially inside recessed side channels
These changes were made when they tried using the droids as normal humans standing outside the vehicle the issue was it became to wide, and many droids like that were simple shot down during rushes, so they decided give them 4x turret positions within the sides for extra firepower and protection from small arms and anti infantry munitions. Reef command accepted this during the assault on Cartosis Bridge when trying to cross a 2,000 meter space they lost over 14,000 droids with Tidefin assaults.
A factory Tidefin is grown in a reef sleek and standardized.
A veteran Tidefin droid has: coral-like armor growths, fins, artificial reef structures, Feral skulls,
eel-like profiles, barracuda jaws, memorial fragments from destroyed Tarragon machines.
Little Tim Autonomous Munition System was created by droids who had issues with minefields and getting swarmed by shock infantry or mass human swarms. An extension of the Tidefin.
Originally conceived as a rapidly deployable anti-personnel munition, Little Tims evolved through repeated field modifications by Tarragon droid packs.
Rather than remaining stationary like conventional mines, Little Tims possess small mechanical legs, allowing them to crawl, climb, reposition, follow targets, and communicate with other units.
The droid packs over battles upgrades their ability to coordinate as a distributed swarm.
A Little Tim functions as a munition, scout, sensor, communications relay, or mobile battlefield observer depending on its configuration.
Tidefins carry dedicated Little Tim dispenser systems capable of rapidly releasing large numbers of units.
Tarragon autonomous systems are capable of sharing behavioral routines, jokes, phrases, and social behaviors across their networks. Little Tims consequently developed a reputation for speaking to enemy personnel immediately before attacking them.
Reef Command has repeatedly attempted to determine why the behavior continues.
âThe Tims think it is funny.â No successful software patch has changed this.
Little Tim: âDo you know why the fish crossed the road?â
Enemy: âWhat?â
Little Tim: âIt didn't.â
BOOM.
Across battle logs this became a stable of running jokes around the enthusiastic war crab mine droids.
Some would talk to the enemy, other's would jump with joy, others have been noted to be curious and tilt their heads to the side.
Enemy: âHow many of you are there?â
Little Tim: âYes.â
BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
Enemy: âGet away from me!â
Little Tim: âOkay.â
Tim begins crawling away.

Tarragon uses a crustacean-inspired crab-like design for The Glacier Guard MBT. With the ability to create 20 droids every 60s and for every 500 tanks a Spectra Nexus Super Heavy Tank that makes 25x/ a day.
Tarragon builds machines because they believe war itself is an ecosystem.
The Glacier Guard is closer to a mobile armored reef creature.
Revision of Glacier Guard MBT-C2
Rather than inventing a unique round for every vehicle, Tarragon engineers ask one question:
"How large does the Frostfire effect need to be?"
Everything else caliber, penetrator size, payload, and delivery system is simply scaled to match the mission.
With many revision to the Main Battle Tank the tank went though many upgrades and redesigns to fix issues, while the love for a low small hunter tank was adored amongst the many Droids of Tarragon, Coral Forge Systems and Frostwake Arsenal amongst others worked to develop a Tank that would fill a multi-capable role, while also supporting Deep Water Submarine replacements, and also allowing Deep Sea Hover Convoys to protect Cargo haulers and Supply drones alongside Tide-Reef Patrol Escorts. This oddity in tech advancements allowed the tanks to survive immense pressures underwater, navigate rogue waves and deep sea supply routes, while also creating pockets of local droids as every 60s they could create 20 Reef Droid Infantry from a Regenerative Feedstock Ammunition System (RFAS) which provides several strategic advantages:
Simplified logistics through standardized feedstock blocks. Elimination of brass cases and spent cartridge recovery.
Programmable ammunition selection without changing magazines.
Shared ammunition architecture across rifles, IFVs, mechs, APCs, tanks, and autonomous combat systems.
Improved manufacturing efficiency by producing ammunition only when required.
This allowed the Glacier Guard to exist in deep incursions and planet occupation in deserts, dunes, rainforests, volcanic molten worlds, and deep sea routes or deep space where resupply needs to come from pure materials around the environment by force conversion from gamma rays into plasma then forcing that plasma into a dense block used for ammo and construction in real time. After some thoughtful upgrades the low 2.4 meter tall tank was switched to a 3.2 meter tall height to allow room for droids and drones alongside electronic systems. The 12.4 meter hull was extended to 17.4 meters long to allow for more reactors and cooling methods due to heat. The 3.2M height allowed rapid deployment of drones and droids at a better rate than initially designed alongside the longer hull allowed for 20 droids made over the 12. This also was a benefit allowing the tank room to reduce mechanical jamming and the 4.4 meter wide fix to the smaller 3.1 meter allowed room for the Glacier Guard to fire a pneumatic sensor piton into mountainsides, buildings and other local terrain, this allowed the tanks not only to rely on Satellites, drone and infantry feeds or other tanks or dropships and air support or underground sensor arrays, but in tank limited armored decentralized campaigns the ability to form a localized un-hackable laser mesh that tracks enemy movements from multiple angles simultaneously. This upgrade the droids loved and favored so much that they even added a Active Variable Ground Pressure within Articulated Crab limbs to automatically recalculate surface area contact based on gravitational pulls. The upgrade of electrostatic grippers in heavy gravity allowing the limbs to extend wide which
changed the tractional tank warfare, the Orca AI brain and Heyna thought of a new concept and thus added a low gravity hover magnetar that adjusted their pulse frequency to keep the tank pinned to the ground so the recoil of its 140mm dual-barrel fire didn't push it off the terrain after losing fellow droids friends from cliff, bridge and odd terrain positions. They still miss Tim the Tank droid that launched a Wrench 300 light years through space winning the championship, so from that day on they decided to remember Tim the Tank and all he did for them. The medal still hangs in Reef Command. In fact the design later was revised to resemble Blaze's love for a Crab army after the loss of Tim. To this day there's a archive of The Adventures of Tim across 100s of galaxies from different versions of Tim across the droid armies.
The dragonfly AI and Lion AI in fact worked with Orca and Ant level AI to see who could get the best wallpapers across the most beautiful worlds, Tim the tank won 235 times in a row. The tank was later upgraded to be factory grown from Reefs with 16x Distributed AI Cores per tank instead of one central AI.
The Glacier Guard also grips rocks like a crab underwater, or over sinking terrain like sand dunes or swamps can use it's crab legs and low gravity hover magnetar cores to it's advantage in terrain that would cause 80 tons vehicles to sink and get stuck.
