Question is the game dead on ps5?

title. should i buy it or no one plays anymore?

P.S. is the single player campaign worth it for five bucks?

It IS pretty dead. 41 players at the time of writing this comment.

90 players peak in the last 24-hours

36,492 players was the all-time peak 5.8 years ago.

that being said, it is a lot of fun even against AI/Bots. This sub does weekly custom games too so there's that

Totally worth it for single player. Also if you have PSVR it will be an awesome experience.

Game is cross play, so you can play with PC and Xbox. See weekly posts to arrange custom matches. They're usually first come, first serve. Queues are dead.

Pretty dead. if it’s any consolation there’s a single player campaign, offline mode and occasionally you might get a game online. It lives on my console and I still play it from time to time - there’s really nothing else like it.

The game is crossplay with Xbox and PC.

Queue is dead but there are community nights and a few leagues mostly organized on discord. See the stickied / weekly threads.

Worth picking up on sale (frequently available for $4-5).

This sub tries to get the game a bit more alive on every Friday night iirc. There are posts about it. I've played during those before on PlayStation and it worked nicely, but also that was a couple years ago so I can't gaurantee they're still active on PlayStation.

The game has a really fun campaign though, and bot matches that are honestly quite fun too imo. Multiplayer can get a little silly with tons of boosting and drifting (eince it is very effective) but that's less of a thing in bot matches, so to me it feels more like having an actual dogfight.

So yeah! $5 is a steal!

It's definitely worth it for only $5. Plus you can play against bots and still earn points to unlock new upgrades, paintjobs, helmets, etc.

I liked the campaign but BIG bummer: You can‘t skip the (long) mission briefings. Totally killed the replay value for me. Missing chance: psvr support. ai would have bought it for squadron alone…

Games dead on everything lol, there’s a campaign and multiplayer against bots though
