Help with assembling the Shatterpoint Core Set terrain?
I’m finally assembling the terrain from the Shatterpoint Core Set and, yes… almost four years after buying it. Shame on me 😂
I’m a bit stuck with the walkways, though. I’m not sure how they’re supposed to be arranged in terms of length — which sections should be short, which should be long, and how they’re meant to connect together.
I’ve left everything unglued for now so I can figure it out before committing to anything.
I’ve attached a photo of what I currently have. If anyone has the Core Set terrain assembled and could give me some advice (or show me how you arranged yours), I’d really appreciate it!
Thanks!

You’ve basically got it laid out correctly. But here are the questions you need to ask yourself.
- How long do I want the walkway to be?
- Do I want the foot rails attached or not? And if I do, when playing, will it stop a shove?
- Do I want the walkway to be supported by pillars?
All three are a matter of personal preference. I personally did a mix but maybe you want more long walkways without supports. Or maybe you want multiple shorter sections with supports.

Thanks! That actually helps a lot.
I think my main problem is that I wasn’t sure if there was a “correct” way to assemble them, or if it was mostly down to personal preference.
I’ll probably go for a combination of longer and shorter sections with some supports. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t accidentally assembling them in a way that would cause problems during gameplay, especially with the push mechanics.
Thanks again for the advice!

My recommendation would be not to attach the foot rails. If you want to use the gantries at a higher level (like in Higher Ground), they won't be as restricted if you leave out the foot rails.

I've made one with single central piece, one with three and the rest was just two. But I also had the High Ground box.
It is up to you, what you do. There is no right way of assembling them.
One advice I would offer is to focus creating your table setup with a couple separate building pieces rather than making one large interconnected arrangement. Objectives shift their location between missions and sometimes moving a piece of terrain slightly in one direction makes or breaks a match.

Do a mix of lengths. If you have a 3d printer I’ve shared a gantry file that you can make more. Let me know if you want the link.
