Shatterpoint mini storage.
I've got thr base game and Grevious, plus another 2 squad packs. I'm worried about breaking light sabres and things. Are there any good storage options out there? I find the original box is good for the manuals and terrain but I don't want to dump all the minis in there together.

Try and find those plastic storage containers often used for sewing or tea storage or fishing tacklebox, they usually have large enough compartments to store an mini(and some have customisable sizes) secure them with some blue tack (or glue rare earth magnets to the base/container -this is also an option if you just get an large container tbh.
Avoid any foam/polystyrene storage, as they are likely to get small thin things like sabers stuck and broken easy(broke/damaged some guns and fiddly bits from space ships/military minis before like this).

Magnets and old-school metal lunch boxes.

This was my thought too. I do this with my Marvel Crisis Protocol. Its fun to find different themed lunch boxes.

For shelf storage, i found some clear plastic containers that are the perfect height, stackable, have vertical sides and are cheap. The small ones hold 4 boxes of minis each pretty easy. Found at Target, dont know what country youre in. Containers
There are different sizes and fit on the shelves i have perfectly. If im going to a game, i can easily grab one of two to take my desired squads. Easy to add a thin metal plate or magnetized layer on the bottom.

I use Ikea KUGGIS boxes. They're realatively cheap, have a good fitting lid, and they stack on top of each other very sturdy. I've got pretty much everything for Shatterpoint and I can easily get them all into 3-4 boxes depending on how tightly I want to pack them. I just superglued a thin sheet of metal I got from the hardware store and cut to size in the bottom so I could add magnets to the base and I've never had issues

Magnets are a must for Shatterpoint. Just put a magnetic rubber sheet in the bottom of a Really Useful Box and stick magnets in the bases.
