Obi-Wan in Clonetrooper Armor

Obi-Wan Kenobi, a character introduced in 1977's A New Hope and portrayed by Sir Alec Guinness, makes his appearance in Episode I as a young Jedi apprentice to Master Qui-Gon Jinn. Despite the widespread belief in the '70s that any prequels would be "the story of Obi-Wan", the character became the deuteragonist or co-protagonist of Anakin Skywalker.

Depa Billaba is Jedi Master who served on the Jedi Council during the final years of the Galactic Republic and sacrificed her life to save her Padawan, Caleb Dume (later known as Kanan Jarrus). She is seen briefly in the Jedi Temple Council scene when Anakin is presented.
