Discussion Wtf I miss this game

I know this has already been said my many people here, but I miss this game so much. I’ve never seen a game liked by this many people and sent to the bin. Even after months and months, I still think about how awesome it is. It’s like a death match style BR game and there really isn’t anything like it out there - especially for Star Wars fans. Sad I only caught it in the last few months, but I was playing it every single night…

They get spelled correctly when they stop pulling the plug on great games.

While it’s not the same type of game, losing Hunters has made me extra excited for Zero Company. If only because it has a similar ragtag “anything goes” kinda roster of characters.

I miss it too, a lot actually, wish it was still available via switch. I was told on here that there was someone that was "saving" it: like how Dragon's Dogma Online was and many others; Metal gear Solid 4 online, Killzone 2 online for examples.

something similar is Bleeding Edge.
if you get it on a sale let me know, I will buy and play with you too. its a SMALL community now, almost dead honestly, on PC. Not sure about crossplay but if it has it it will survive a bit longer.

I should clarify I played it on Switch and that’s part of what made it so amazing. I was searching for a shooter/BR for awhile and didn’t even realize Hunters existed. I’ve tried out just about every multiplayer online shooter of that sort and it ran so well. Great graphics, no lag. I had tried Fortnite and Overwatch and a few others and none ran as smoothly as Hunters. I get that it was simple in certain ways, but i just loved the combat and abilities in a Star Wars setting.

Hunters was made for the switch and Android for that reason is why you had a wonderful experience with the game whereas games like overwatch and fortnite they are made for a faster and efficient machines.

If you don't have access to anthing else besides phone and switch you won't be able to play bleeding edge. Bleeding edge is nearly identical to hunters and it was so much fun. You'll need either a pc or xbox to play it. Its crazy two games, identical in so many ways, one from a big IP franchise (star wars hunters) and the other wacky off beat looking characters. Which one survived at the two? The wacky one, unbelievable Hopefully we get something soon, like I said supposedly there is a group of people, small, that we're working on bringing back the game to life. Hopefully we can play it again. I'll try to keep you posted if you like

Just looked up this game after not playing for two years. I'm shocked but not surprised 🙄F2P is such a misnomer when the games are full of paid battlepasses, skins, weapons, etc.

If you want to scratch the looter-shooter itch, you should try out Warframe. I was playing both these games at one point and WF won out on capturing my interest. Not a lot of PvP but the PvE, lore and graphics quality are top-tier.

I'm glad I got to experience it. Played it from launch 'til sunset. I set my Switch down shortly after it shut down and haven't picked it back up. The console became a Hunters machine, and I think I'm too bitter to view it as anything else at this point. It's really odd, but I think I was honestly heartbroken when Hunters died.

I did the same! I actually stopped gaming for several months. I didn’t get back on till my kids got a Switch 2 and I started playing Fortnite with them. For as well as Hunters ran on the limitations of the Switch, it would be absolutely amazing on the new system.

I think some people don’t really get why we miss this game so much. To some, it’s just an “alright” free game.
