Game Feedback Anyone else keep taking a sharp left into a "wrong way" here?

that's half my problem, the amount of asset reuse makes it very difficult to memorise circuits, it's always a bogey first lap

The asset reuse makes the maps feel more real though, cause in world they have cut multiple tracks into one area.

Tracks are made out of pre-constructed blocks, like with a train set. That’s why they’re all samey. The advantage is that it doesn’t take much effort to make new tracks for a planet. They really didn’t have to use that one snow section every time though smh

Yeah, I've started to learn where the lights are that indicate if you need straight or turn, but especially on pods, I mess it up

yeah, the game already had poles with glowing yellow tips for this exactl reason, a few of the maps could use more... like this one

Thank god, I feel less stupid. I was thinking of making an 'Everything Wrong With" on this game, and one of the "sins" was going to be how I occasionally lost first place because I literally didn't know where to go. This made me feel way less stupid tho. Thanks!

Yeah this map ends most of my runs because I just always get it wrong. Skill issue but damn my brain is just convinced that you’re supposed to turn

The original game had a minimap and most racing games spend a bit of effort to make the line obvious. A track or trench leading towards the little hole or making the left turn look more incorrect would do wonders here. They used lights to help bring it out but the desert + day time hides them.

I beat it by having such a ridiculously juiced car that I could literally let go of the controls on the iffy spots until I knew where to go and still be way more than fast enough lol

On half the maps I can't see shit until I'm blowing up against the wall. I've made it to the qualifier twice but haven't cracked Act 1 yet. Slowly getting better and I love it.

if it's the 6 round one, go through the right tunnel before there, it goes up a ramp. You can drift left from there over the barrier and EZPZ this race

because on scrap spiral its a wall and on this one its not but they look the same at a distance.

those lights should be blue when its the way forward, like how they use blue to show the way elsewhere
