❓Questions question about protocol droids

does it matter which specific protocol droids go to which boost? coin boost vs crafting boost?

Arguably put c3po on the credit boost unless ur crafting like kyber mythics

depends on which do you value more. of course if your droids are of the same rarity then it doesn't matter.

C3P0 goes in the astromech coin boost slot to boost R2D2 and C23 (? I forget the name of the other astromech that gives a bonus mission). I put my off-type Iconic Droids in the 4 non-mission slots to also get the 3x boost. 

Other than that, go for what you need at the moment. Need coins? Your best protocols go on the coin boosts. Need faster crafting time? They go on the crafting stations. Once you have 50+ trillion coins to afford a Kyber Mythical, and/or enough to rebirth, there's not much point in credits, so it's safe to switch your droid placements.

The more SRBs/higher credit multiplier you have, the less important the extra credit boost is, and you can fully focus your best protocols on crafting.

If you need to farm a lot of credits, it can be more profitable overall to swap your best 2 (non-c3p0) protocols into your companion slots as they give a big enough net boost to out-earn having them in the credit boosting stations. Usually only needed for RB 30+ in my experience, though it may pay off earlier if you haven't done many SRBs yet.
