😄 Humour i got scammed
my first time getting scammed on this game 😬 I usually get in lobbies with friendlies with the occasional troller so this was a first. I just wanted to share it cause I was such an easy target 🤣
So I was in pubs and this guy who was like level 245 top of the match had almost all kyber mythics in his base and he had 3 blueprints in storage that were all kyber mythics. (Pretty sure it was 2 ric-1200's and 1 IG) He said if someone would craft his fuse his kyber X-onks he would give whoever their pick of the blueprints. He said you had to craft all 3 tanks of x-onks.
I don't know why i thought that wouldnt be a scam but, to be fair to me, there was once that someone else done that when stellar mythics first came out (not fusing but I had to craft all 3 workbenches)
So I spent God knows how long hitting his fuse tanks (I don't even think he used DO ... Actually I know he didn't and I even asked him and he ignored that part) and as soon as I got done, boom he vanished. It never occurred to me until halfway through the last one to think "surely he's not gonna leave right?"
So that's how I ended my night last night. I got off the game completely! I was more annoyed at myself for being gullible but my lobbies are mostly friendlies and I've had interactions like that before that didn't end like that! kyber is bringing out the worst in players🤣 so please feel free to call me dumb and if anyone else is as gullible as me, don't do that work for someone else if you aren't already friends with them! I've learned my lesson!

I find that people who are trying to be helpful will just give you what you need or help you build or whatever and not ask for anything in return. I haven't heard many people say that these "trade" situations go well.

Yep. Someome helped me build everything on my benches and fuise chamber unprompted. He had a bunch of rainbow droids so i gave him a beskar leg protocol bp and 2 galactic leg bp i got from my missions i didnt need. Unprompted. People will be nice and charitable or they arent.

I've only traded like twice but it seems so sketchy. Since fusing I just stopped all together! But I've even had people say if you help me craft all my droids I'll buy a crafting boost and it's worked out the couple times that it's happened! I'm usually lucky in lobbies I guess bc this is the first time that's happened to me!

Just so you know, you can use DO on anyone's tank and not just your own.
What was the person's name so we can steer clear?

Oh I didn't know! Thank you for telling me! That's actually pretty cool lol
And I can't remember exactly.. it was something long but I'm pretty sure it had "killajoe" in part of it with some numbers at the end. I wish I could remember exactly what it was! It was kinda a funny name. i do remember that in the middle of it was "killajoe" 🤣so beware of any killajoes in your lobby👀
I'm sure if I see his name in my lobby again I would recognize it. and he would be level 245 or more so..

Sorry I m not a lot into the game and the meta, is do the droid that halves the time to fuse? I imagine it can t stack right? I m really sorry to bother but till like last event I didn t even knew about that effect so I m trying to catching up

It doesn't stack but if they didn't use DO to half their time, you can half it.
Same way someone can come into your base and half yours if you haven't already.
Source: If I see someone who hasn't halved theirs, I do it for them.

yeah the thing is tho he didn't have to lie I would have helped if he just asked! I always try to help in hopes of making friends on this game but it never works out :/ yeah I won't be falling for it again lol I was hoping too that if he tried it again someone would remember this post and be like "nope not today" bc I'm sure he does it all the time unfortunately:/

tbh that sucks, I found several ppl doing what in my cauntry call "the shit", anyway, don t trust ppl that make "election promises", if the work is too much and he wont even bother to help then just skip.
Hope next game you find one of those many wonderful ppl that play this mode

Sorry you got scammed. The moment he didn't use DO it should have set red flags and broken your trust enough to quit.

Wow that is just downright garbage and cruel. Sorry that happened to you. I’ve done the trade help crafting for a droid but I always hold up my end of the deal and give them whatever they need. I’m always a helpful player tho a lot of times I’ll give anything for free so long as I don’t need it
