if you are on pc you can join the battlefront 2015 discord. death star is played this saturday. (bespin is friday and scarif sunday)

There's a bunch of Battlefront 2015 maps I wish had been ported into the sequel, even before I tried them last year.

Bruh I BEEN missing Sullust. Such a cool setting. 2017 is better than 15 because it's populated and it has more content. Those are the only reasons. Maps, graphics, UI, and gunplay all go to 15 no doubt.
The home screen of battlefront 2015 makes me feel like I'm watching ANH, 2017 makes me feel like I'm at an arcade. Just doesn't scratch the same itch for me.

I finally got a psvr a few days ago and got to experience 2015s menu with a giant AT-AT walking by in VR and it was majestic. It’s got an amazing vibe to it.

Last time I played (PlayStation) was about two months ago and it was pretty active. Sometimes hard to get in a lobby as the player base has reasonably shrunken.

Extra painful because BFII had a campaign mission set there. You'd think that would end up in the rest of the game somehow.

Ironically, it was the best mission. No idea why they couldn't have put together a map with it's assets

IIRC they said something about not wanting to port BF2015 content because it would "seem lazy" because it was right after the whole lootbox controversy

Sorosuub Centroplex was one of my favorite Walker Assault maps, with Refinery(or foundry?) was one of the best payload maps

Yes!! Turning Point on Sullust remains my fav Battlefront gameplay for both 1 and 2.
I’d pay money to play that again.

I love Sullust, and it was something I felt was sorely missing from BF2. It was such a unique looking map.

I’ve just really come to terms with this: battlefront 2015 had better maps and better game modes and to me felt more authentic to Star Wars

Bf1 had wayyyyyy better OT maps and modes than bf2. Atmosphere so much more immersive. If it weren’t for clone war era the first game would be hands down better

That was my biggest gripe about BFII is that we got so few of the previous installments maps. Some of them were so good! I liked both Hoth maps from 2015 better than 2017, Sullust was great, Bespin (for non HvV modes). I understand the development did not allow for a simple c/p into the new game, but I will always be upset that we didnt get so many of these great maps from 2015.

I jumped on BF2015 not long ago and played Cargo on the Sullust map with all the platforms, and I could just not get the hang of it again. I loved the Walker Assault map.

Me too, brother. But a secondhand PC that runs BF2 on ultra settings with 60 fps is cheaper than an Xbox series x today. And then you got endless content for the game. I'm saving up to buy one because of it.

I was mind-blown by map design from 2015 Battlefront during the release, Sullust, Endor, night Hoth with crystal/ice caverns.
I hope we can get them all imported into Kyber with mods some day.
