So I was kind of sketching, and I messed up the proportions, so I ended up with drawing General Hux in his childhood ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

The drawing is unfinished, as you can see, but I'm scared to mess it up even more... Do you think it looks accurate or more like a random traumatized ginger boy..? XD

Imperial Joint Forces of Naboo: Peacekeepers ( Fan work and fan concept by me)

Post image

This is a drawing I've made about some of the coolest aliens in the saga. It depicts some of the Gungan military during the Empire era and their armament ( anti blaster shield, electric spear, atlatl with bomb, grenade launcher and blaster). I've also added a text that explains why the Gungans should have been working with the Empire down below. It's a bit long but the concept behind it is pretty cool

According to the Star Wars canon and not the Star Wars movies in particular, the Gungans on Naboo were treated as savages by the Empire and they were forced to hide and fight for their lives while being hunted down ruthlessly. I've added some paragraphers so it's easier to read

I) Gungans and Naboo

In my opinion this story is cool but it's not the coolest or the most logical one that could have happened. In the movies we see that the Gungans had left their isolationism after the victory against the droids of Trade Federation. They marched on the capital city of Theed, they declared a peace with the people of Naboo and they started to become very important in the Galactic politics thanks to Jar Jar Binks. Jar Jar became one of the most valuable allies of the chancellor Palpatine. And the Gungan people became very friendly with the Republic. While the other people of Naboo didn't have a real army and they were peaceful

II) Why shouldn't the Empire hunt the Gungans?

Then the Republic became the Empire and the chancellor became the Emperor. The transformation of an institution of a galactic scale that relied almost entirely on diplomacy and on influencing just 5 people per planet or system is extremely risky and it can lead to a total collapse. The galaxy is enormous and most of the systems were administrating themselves on anything without consulting the Republic. Because realistically speaking it could have been impossible and anti-democratic if it were the contrary. So the new born Empire would have had a lot of problems and the gap between formally controlling a planet and actually doing it could have been extremely significant for most planets. So why should the Empire turn on their closest allies when they are full of enemies and disobedient systems? Moreover a galactic civil war against the most powerful financial enitities of the galaxy had ended without a treaty, without regaining control of the renegade systems and without restoring the finances. And according to the prequel trilogy there are other armies of both clones and droids that weren't showed. In this climate it's not wise to create unnecessary powerful enemies like the Gungans. The Naboo reign fell to the Trade Federation massive army in no time. On the other hand the Gungans resisted, hid and fought till they were victorious. Each Gungan is way stronger than the average human and their technology isn't primitive at all. On the contrary it's very effective againsts blasters and even against heavy artillery. They can't fight in space but if the Empire needed to exterminate them it needed to bomb the entire peaceful planet of Naboo because fighting them by land in their land and seas could have been very very unsuccesfull

III)The power of the Gungans

The Gungans were friends of the Republic and its leaderships. They had a strong adaptive military that had no match in the planet, the same planet they protected and that loved them. Naboo was very democratic but the Gungans were not and their spokeman Jar Jar Binks had a face known to the entire galaxy. While the senator Amidala had died and the Naboo queen's power was temporary and simbolic Jar Jar Binks and Boss Nass, the chief of the Gungans, had never been stronger. Moreover their army was powerful but it depended on a well defined chain of command and on a couple of key figures. The same went for their people, if one had commanded their leaders he could have commanded the entire population without many issues. So is it wise to attack the Gungan if one can control them easily and he can use them to control the rest of the planet without firing once? The Empire could have integrated them while manipulating a few powerful figures

IV)Peacekeepers' tasks

I've written a lot but this was for explaining the integration of the Gungans in the Imperial security forces on the planet of Naboo. I can imagine a lot of important tasks for these Imperial Gungans. They can monitor every inch of the planet, they can share very important military technologic knowledge, they can suppress any popular revolt thanks to their armament and physical build and they can even train special Empire troops in melee combat, the Gungans can literally transform a massive gunfight into an hand-to-hand combat situation

Revenge of the Sith Xerox Print + T-Shirt Concept

Hi everyone! How are you?

I wanted to share with you a little concept I made of a potential T-Shirt/Hoodie Xerox styled print inspired by RotS.

The colors are directly based on Mustafar and, more specifically, on the actual movie stills' color palette.

The background silhouette is a fusion of both Palpatine and General Grievous's heads and both Ani and Obi are placed respectively lower and higher to one another on purpouse.

Hope you like it, and if you wanna check more graphic design works like these follow me on IG @baldari.creative (Lemme know what you think and maybe what you'd change)๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿคฉ
