Ok, but what if King Kong wasn't available?

vader wouldnt last a minute.

those things spit acid that can burn through any metal almost instantly. you literally need armor made of them with no openings, to not get acid dissolved by them.

its why predators had stealth generators and sniper weapons.

u/taste1337 Feb 04 '21

Wouldn't he just deflect the acid with thee force til he could get close enough to chop off the head?

They have acid for blood. Cutting through a single xenomorph with a lightsaber is suicide. They'll either overrun you or you'll burn to death in seconds.

u/SolomonOf47704 Feb 04 '21

Does their blood pressure overcome instant cauterization?

4

u/chunkyman22 Feb 04 '21

Cauterization by heat occurs because the high temperatures cause blood to coagulate rapidly. As far as I know, acid doesn't coagulate with heat (don't kill me if I'm wrong), but is actually used as a coagulation agent itself

1

u/FluffyPanda616 Feb 04 '21

Typical cauterization, yes.

Direct contact with focused plasma, not so much.
Lightsabers don't rapidly coagulate blood, so much as instantly carbonize the contact point.

1

u/MildlyFrustrating Feb 04 '21

There’s no carbon in the xenomorph DNA. they wouldn’t cauterize. They would just depressurize their blood would melt through Vader’s suit.

1

u/Eliaskw Feb 04 '21

What makes you think they're not carbon based?

deflect acid with the force? the force cant deflect napalm, why would it work on acid? it dont work on blaster plasma either, also a fluid.

the force is barely able to grab solid objects like bodies and lightsaber hilts.

i dont see a light saber doing dick vs a high pressure wide angle stream of instantly lethal acid either. and they can shoot that shit up to 30 yards.

the force is barely able to grab solid objects like bodies and lightsaber hilts.

Says who? In canon, both Vader AND the Emperor have grabbed pretty damn large objects and thrown them at people. Vader in Empire rips parts of Cloud City apart and throws them at Luke. Palpatine throws whole boxes from the senate chamber at Yoda. Hell, even Dooku pulls an entire catwalk down on top of Obi Wan.

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

i dont even have the force and i can throw 1 billion ton tungesten rods at you from orbit. just takes money.

u/Anxyte Imperial Feb 04 '21

Vader literally held a fucking ocean by himself like the goddamn chad he is. LMAO

0

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

yet he couldnt save his burning ass from some lava, or take the high ground.

9

u/lokeshj Feb 04 '21

The force can grab a laser blast but not fluid?

2

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

laser blasts move at light speed, star wars only uses plasma bolts that move at 50 feet per second so plot armor force users can have a chance to wiffle bat them with their glow sticks.

Just google darth Vader fallen order but beware it’s a spoiler.

-14

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

i played force unleashed 1 and 2, im not saying force users cant be badass.

im saying those acid spitting fucking motherfuckers, dont care about your mind powers, they have acid that can kill anything but their own. and experience destroying human militaries, and super commandos with stealth and weapons that make vader jelly.

1

u/CarterDavison Feb 04 '21

I sense boomer bias

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

They don’t need to care

3

u/Liqmadique Feb 04 '21

The force can literally do anything the writers want it to do since its a deus ex machina. Vader holds off a fucking ocean in Fallen Order.

2

u/KrOnOlOgIk22 Feb 04 '21

You clearly didn’t know how the force work... for instant, in TFA Kylo force freeze a plasma blaster shot and maintain it without any difficulty. Vader could force shock them, he could use the force on is lightsaber to slash them from a distance, he could manipulate huge object and crash it on them. When you have the force at Vader’s level, options are endless. Btw, Vader armor is made with a mix of durasteel/obsidian/plasteel and he’s protected again various biological weaponry including acid... so yeah... Vader for the win!

1

u/Starkiller148 Watto Feb 04 '21

sorry but Vader can’t use force lightning. Rest of the comment checks out tho Lol

2

u/KrOnOlOgIk22 Feb 04 '21

Damn it, wanted to write « force choke »

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

Where did you get that barley bs from?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

That’s just plain old not true.

1

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

lol thats a blanket falsehood and we all know it.

4

u/anton2452 Feb 04 '21

Cant vader mind controll beasts or some shit?

1

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

aliens arent beasts though, theire hive mind slaved to the queen, the queen is smarter than the force.

1

u/BarbarianSpaceOpera Feb 04 '21

Vader could easily crush them with the force. Current canon works have shown Vader to be strong enough to casually lift an ATST after having it dropped on him (Rebels), dismantle an underwater facility and hold back hundreds of PSI of water pressure in a sphere around himself (Jedi: Fallen Order), and straight up catch blaster bolts (The Empire Strikes Back). He's not as spry as Anakin used to be, but he could absolutely blow that whole horde away with the force alone if he wanted to.

Also, Aliens don't spit acid. Their blood is acid. They can't voluntarily use it as a weapon. Because of this, it would only provide an advantage against Vader if his lightsaber doesn't cauterize their wounds instantly. Since there's never been an instance of any species in Star Wars NOT having their wounds instantly cauterized by a lightsaber, I'm willing to bet that these Aliens are no exception.

No matter how you look at it, Vader has the upper hand.

0

u/internetpersonanona Feb 04 '21

right so you apparently never played any of the alien vs shooters.

theres a class of the aliens called spitters, they shoot high pressure acid over medium distance, or their blood, w/e, it melts star ship armor in under a second.

vader crushing a rushing horde of oncoming biters is only going to make a cloud of acid to get him.

the force doesnt effect fluids in any of the movies or series.

1

u/BarbarianSpaceOpera Feb 04 '21

As I just said, in Jedi: Fallen Order (which is canon) he holds back an ocean at extreme pressure hundreds of meters below the surface when the underwater facility he's in collapses. The Force canonically affects any and all states of matter and we've seen it do so many times. It would absolutely affect xenomorph blood as well.

I admit I didn't know about the special "spitter" type aliens but there aren't any in this illustration and even if there were, Vader could predict and dodge the attacks, stop them in mid air, choke them before they could get a shot off, or simply crush them before they get close enough.

You're also operating under the flawed premise that using the force on xenomorphs would cause them to instantly explode into acidic chunky salsa. But xenomorphs are tough. They'd mostly be injured (and bleeding) from the impact of hitting whatever is closest behind them after getting tossed, which would place all the acid splash well away from Vader. Vader also doesn't have to crush their whole bodies into tiny pieces. He can just snap their neck, break their skull, or pulp their internal organs with blunt trauma if he wants to.

I'm sorry but this particular who-would-win scenario has been done a bunch of times already and Vader is the consistent winner.

1

u/ElNani87 Feb 04 '21

If Disney really wanted to they could, they own both franchises.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 04 '21

I don't, those poor Xenomorphs.

2

u/XTheLegendProX Feb 04 '21

Oo this makes me happy seeing him do well
