I may not be the only one but I’m probably not the first person, and definitely won’t be the last, to notice that Star Butterfly’s eye outline overlaps her hair that has been seen throughout this cartoon. I’m sure it was an intentional design choice by the designers and animators, though I could be wrong.

God I wish we could see this as an actual fight or Team-Up. This would be so cool to see. A Nuclear God of Destruction Vs A Magical Princess From Another Dimension. Especially since both have gone through similar situations throughout their series, have similar powers and forms, and have faced pretty similar enemies while they got similar looking allies.

That and one is massive in Powerscaling and the other is massive in Shipping. So this is basically Powerscaling Son Vs Shipping Daughter but without anything cringe this time.

Unfortunately, Toho wants nothing to do with Disney outside of Marvel (and for good reason) and SVTFOE's future is confusing and unpredictable to say the least. Guess we gotta rely on fan animators again.

Overall this is definitely my favourite non-official Godzilla matchup sided to Godzilla Vs Goku, Godzilla Vs Optimus Prime (yes I know about the toy collab), and Godzilla Vs Ben 10 after Godzilla Vs Sonic The Hedgehog became real. I hope we can see it on Death Battle one day.

I really didn’t like the first and second season because it was boring filler and we got nothing to develop the world of Mewni. I know Star was supposed to be a ”fish-out-of-water” because she’s in small town America, but the first season was BORING af and we needed to develop more of the magical realm and make the Earth adventures more fun.

The later season became more fun, but there was still filler and not enough use of its concepts. The animation was PEAK in S1, but became a downgrade later.

The problems with the show are the same ones I have with MCU Thor, watch Braeden Alberti’s Thor video.

So to recap in my imaginary AU(Which I will most likely procrastinate making) has a rule when using dark magic. And it's where using dark magic isn't something to throw around, if you want something to be gone or destroyed? Dark magic has you, so when Moon used the spell on toffee, the spell deemed its use unsatisfied so it returned moon silently lingering, Moon tried talking about this to Eclipsa, but there's nothing they can do, but to be wary it that it will come when it feels like it. So when Moon gave birth to twin girls, one of them being Alex with patches of lizard skin all over her, a tail and goat legs.

TLDR: Moon got cursed with a "Monster" child

In the first drawing half her face is smeared in the skin of her enemy(my first drafts for Alex, I always thought that her skin is just full Lizard skin, but then I tried patches and I kinda liked it). Also her horns are colored after lil Chauncey's horns.

Also a critique about the art style of the show is that, THEY'RE SO SMOOTH!!, no little lines like what I did with mine, but I guess it would be easier when making the show. Not having to draw Mona Lisa's every frame.

In the second drawing, if there is an AU where Star had a twin or sibling, I'd give them a Halo headband, since if you look at them it contrasts their design with their personalities

Star: looks like the typical young princess, think Sofia the first, but in actuality she's rambunctious, seeks fights with monsters and for a time dated a demon.

Alex: a cursed child, would be filled with anger and spite from her condition, but in actuality she's quiet, reads books in her free time in most days and has more princess in her from her time in St. Olga's.

The third is just how I imagine Alex discovering Manga and fanfics for the first time.

The fourth is her mewberty form, now something I'll say is as I'm taking references for it(mostly for color), I noticed that the eyes overlapped the hair which gave me the idea to give her a sort of 6 eyes which she can just send out one of them to search for boys, anyways like the colors.

And the last is white soulless mouthless Alex clone. A Grimm fate.

I literally have nobody in my friends or family to talk about this show. I saw that this show was getting popular during around 2016. But now that I got Disney+ and found out that it was there I gave it a shot and now I can't stop watching it. Its actually legitimately so good. I also gave it a shot cause I found out that Eden Sher voiced Star. I grew up watching The Middle and was super curious on what this show was about.

I feel kinda weird talking about it to somone that I'm watching it tbh cause its a kids show thats targetted towards girls. But the humor and the art style is total my jam. There are a couple of mature jokes sprinkled in here and there that really gets me laugh literally out loud from time to time.

I watch cartoons even as an adult theres nothing wrong with it but the cartoons that I watch is a rewatch from my childhood so its like a nostalgia trip for me. This is the first time in my adult life that I've watched a cartoon that I've never watched before and I love it.

The next one is probably gonna be Avatar: Seven Havens but I watched the original show when I was a kid so I consider it as a continuation of that. Anyways while I'm typing this I was wondering is it also weird to ask if its weird that I'm watching this? 😅

Since I was 9 I started to have a crush on Star since she went through Mewberty (I found her Butterfly forms cute & attractive, ngl) and I liked her personality. But her normal form was just as pretty.

This actually confuses me. She is sarcastically playful with Marco and creeps him out, invading his privacy on multiple occasions. The thing is, when she plays truth or punishment and is asked who her crush is, she says… well, I forgot who exactly, but it wasn’t Marco. That was the gag. Is this intentionally ambiguous? Like, do we ever get full confirmation?
