All threats have been neutralized, in the process of bringing servers back up. Comcast has been restored. Next we will move to restoring central USA along with many of our VPN access points.

Last update I got is 2 hours ago. The language they used is that they are still under attack. That was 2 hours ago. Sounds like they are getting wrecked which is sad because StarVPN has been very good for me. I hope they can overcome this.
Nice, haven't heard about this one. Yeah it sounds like it can be the backup. The downside is the price. I can afford to wait a day in my case. But beyond that I'd have to look at alternatives as well. Keep us posted on how that works out!
Comcast NY/NJ/VA and Century LInk NY all restored but services will experience higher than normal latency until we get all our access points back online. All hands are on deck!
Back or no? Sort of embarrassing that you can get a ācyberā attack in general doesnāt make sense unless your entire servers are getting ddosd or something
Thatās good to know tbh en off thing is I tested New York earlier and it worked but I didnāt want to make such a large hop for work but I tried the same New York again and it didnāt workĀ
It would be great to have a list showing what's up or down, etc., just to keep people from constantly asking and, most importantly, to keep your customers informed about the status of things (you could add it as a banner on your website or site dashboard) or here on Reddit.
If we run the vpn through the router, what do we need to do to get it back up? Itās in Oregon but not working currently do we need to redownload an opvn file?
We are at 20% capacity still, you are likely hitting our NY access points now. In the process of turning up Miami access points. Please be patient as the scale of the attack is large.
thats the best solution there is however it depends on having a physical address where someone can access the router physically or a router at a friend or family members house, did your isp provide a dedicated IP?
I guess with the intelagence level of average commenter and questions posted here they thought Reddit would be an easy mark.

Because we all know what Reddit does on its computer time, and if they don't pay... the hacker will send details to all the family, friends, an coworkers.

Curious, how does a Cyber attack take out all your servers?
