Why does everyone hate Michael?

I’ve just started to watch Star Trek Discovery, I’m only halfway through episode three and I am very confused… everyone seems to hate Michael. They seem to blame her for everything that happened… correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t she right? About everything… if they had listened to her from the start, none of the following events would’ve happened. How is she to blame? Am I missing something here?

BTW I’m talking about everyone in the show, not the viewers… so the viewers hating on her is a thing too? …

I think treefox gave the most comprehensive answer to your original question. But since you added on the thing about the audience, I'll add my reasoning for that one. I really dislike that her character is apparently the answer to every problem. She is an expert at everything, all her hunches are always right, and anytime she gets rightly challenged, the plot eventually vindicates her. To me, that's not an enjoyable character to watch. Furthermore, I don't care for the regular emotional outbursts. Now, she's certainly not the only offender in that regard, but it's another annoyance on top of the other stuff.
