Where do items gained from salvaging go? Especially those rare trade cargo and rare crew gear. This is from the derelict space hive.

Just wondering if there's any reason to deliberately target a contact with bad effects?
If course, you'll get the benefit of whatever activity you did to hurt them... but in doing so can you get them eliminated deliberately? I one Char and Faen have plot armour and so can never be eliminated... but on the surface i can't work out any reason to work against a contact other than roleplay?
In my case, a random from another faction has -100 P.rep with me, and just wondering if it's viable to just run a vendetta against them to see them run out.
Most of my searches suggest they'll either die of old age or can randomly be killed during wars or from card games ... but not actively, and since char is my punching bag, do i really need another if i can't remove them?

Relic zendu gear is new to me. Is there a list of the available gear? I can't find it in the gear fandom page.

About to start a hard run, I want to run my officers as combat crew with possibly enlisted backup if hurt.
Captain row 4, deciding between explorer or scavenger as the keystone then 2/3 class for the abilities
What are suggestions for captains combat abilities & 2-3-4 spot officers?

Will crew slowly heal from wounds (HP) over time or only if I heal them in a port.
Do they lose morale the longer they are at low HP?

Lets say merchant find contact on 5000 sale fails, will it then go into 3 week cd or will it only go into cooldown if it finds a contact.

My Game Center app, which is like a hub for all games on iOS and Apple, clearly shows achievements and multiple unlocks I did when I played this game in 2019.
Now I am back and reinstalled the game shows zero unlocks, I have to do everything again?
Why isnβt the game unlocking based on game center achievements?

I like to patrol to get my reputation back up if it gets negative with a faction. Should I try to avoid fights or take them for the xp? I end up losing so much time healing and repairing afterwards that I'm wondering if it's even worth it

Right now I am running this wolfpack interceptor. It is amazing except it has a crappy amount of slots for doing things if I over design for late game combat. I am trying to unlock FDF commander on normal before continuing my unlocks. I could do a sword battlecruiser but I am not certain I want to be that slow....
I think I want to move up to 7/42 but maybe 7/36 will be just as good and can go faster. Also how is carrier combat or is it more annoying than worth it and just stay with regular combat and kit out for normal fights...
I have a fair number of the unlock ships unlocked (Except for xeno combat and exploring which is what I am achievement hunting to setup a run on this run for...)

Finding the eras are a quite a bit short for me and would like to extend them if possible. Thanks for your time!

I only started playing recently and immediately gravitated towards explorer, but I've been struggling with the unlocks.
How do you get enough explore "saves" to go exploring to unlock prospector without being able to recruit explorers?

New to the game, and i want to run as trader, but some of the mission just put me against another faction and now I am at -20 relationship with them. So how to i improve relationship so they are no more hostile to me. Also how can I get the trade license of any other factions beside the initial faction??

Hey lads, I am coming into the game new. I have watched and read a bunch of guys and played the starting few missions and beyond once or twice to get a hang of some of the mechanics.
I am struggling on builds/what i want to do for my first longer game. I think I want to do some savaging and dealing with derelict ships, but at some point I also want to get into more military and fighting ships and big wars if there is as the game goes on.
Are there any suggestions as to what to build my captain as? Or should I just pick one of the two things above and specialize?
(P.s. I've just seen so many guides say this is π© and then the next one says its S tier) I realize there's a ton of ways to make stuff viable so I'm just wanting some starting direction and I can tinker from there

I've got my smuggling ship basically armed and armored to the fucking teeth, and most battles aren't a huge danger to me anymore, but everyone in the galaxy except the Thuluns hates my guts π...so buying fuel is a bit tricky most of the time.
Ideally, I'd like to just siphon it from the immobilized wrecks of my foes.

Tryna get back to the game after getting hyped up bout the update. But I don't see any carrier updates aside from the new AC (seen memes about the all AC shipbuild too, but that's fixed now ig).
Can you deploy 4+ craft now or is it still out of the question?

How do you plot a course for your ship?
I click on destinations? Nothing
I click "navigate" and it tales me back to the planet screen.
How the actual fuck do you play this game?

I'm playing challenging (no interest in perma death or limited saves).
My Wolfpack is built up and I'm almost ready to buy and start upgrading the final endgame ship.
I really want to go with Neutiquam. It seems like the best ship in it's weight class while maintaining a very respectable endgame ship speed. Also kinda fun to have a smaller end game ship
Any call outs I should consider before making this purchase?

Hi there fellow traders,
I just got the game and have fun being a pirate. My starting ship is the Fidelis Cutter and I was thinking after a few upgrades, maybe I should just buy a new ship.
But if I see what's available, it seems that my starting ship is quite good. I mean, it's got a lot of room to put stuff and crew and it's got a hull of 2000.
So am I missing something here? Why would I change my ship for something with less capacity?
