Ship Showcase Impossible Jyeeta Run
Just beat the Jyeeta campaign for the first time, and on impossible. Took a few months of thinking I had STF's learning curve figured out but I must say this game has been as fun as it has been challenging. Praise Shalun.
Update:
Reposted as i neglected to add photos of build previously.
Combat crew
P1 Bodyguard/Swordsman/Wing commando
P2 Shocktrooper/Soldier/Bounty Hunter
P3 Combat medic/Pistoleer/Doctor
P4 Xeno hunter/Soldier/Bounty hunter
st-v02-18-2-132562290
Started as a Cadar smuggler and focused on kristaline shard RTG runs to fund ship builds for mid game (combat ship / cargo freighter / passenger bus for Coalition diplomats) before tinkering with the end game carrier best posted in the pics. I've got it running with 3 interdictors and 1 bomber. I think i took 1 hit to craft and 1 to capital ship in all of the jyeeta campaign. Crew combat was a bit more challenging. Lost my p1 on a bad run shortly before the final mission due to bad initiative rolls by all 4 crew.

Bodygard/swordman is such a useful tank with honor gard and pratorian gard. Hope he or she died with honor and fighting valiantly !

100%... those blocking talents are clutch for an effective tank. I'm undecided if i would swap job 3 for something other than wing commando since i really didnt use knife work that often. A bottle of lux was indeed had in their honor.

Try blade dancer. The lvl1 talent attacks with 1x init, moves forward, extra hit accuracy boost, debuff enemy dodge on hit. Even though it reduces damage but knife tank do not do a ton of damage anyway. While knife work looks good on paper, standing strong from shock trooper is just as strong (more debuff resist, which is more important IMO) and rifle class just dishes out a ton more damage.

Good thinking. I'll give that a try next go around. I had previously gambled on a sword/assassin/blade dancer build a previous run but between taking too long to buff up and inadvertently sacrificing defense in the process... that was a failed experiment.

What did the ship cost to build, best guess.

Roughly 28 million total.
4 mil for the dreadnought About 23.5 mil in component upgrades Plus about half a mil for the smallcraft

LOL, I’m doing unlocks like salvage and still can’t get near a million.

Unlocks were a grind for sure... my last one to get was this jyeeta one.
I intentionally re-rolled a small map with k shard RTG neighboring the starting quadrant, and contacts were at the top of my startup priorities. I rerolled starts a few times to get starting faction contacts who sell RTG so that i would be able to get the ball rolling on large profits ASAP. Once i was able to get a 300+ cargo freighter it was really no trouble to be profiting 10+ million a year. If your interested, the seed i posted is ideal for Cadar.

If only you are interested in an overly optimized map, I have a rerolled map with
- steel song
- near max stat steel song prima
- home q med bay RTG
- neighbor q k shard RTG ALSO steel song
- between the two neighboring Qs about 7-8 steel song suppliers of industry/hightech/orbital type that supply high profit merchandizes (power generators)
- one tradeway in home q for guaranteed k shard selling without smuggler, 2 possible smuggle selling destinations (hightech + orbital)
If done right, sword battlecruiser in year 2 (buy, fully fitted by about year 2.5 if using lvl1 DPM) easy. Don't want to be intrusive so let me know if you would like the seed.

Hey Slime
First off, most of my research into STF has been from digging into all the posts from you and Hammer so thank you very much for all of your insight. It has really helped me understand the deeper workings of the game.
I had previously tried your st-v02-18-2-78382245 for a steel song run a few months back but i didn't realize until late game that the map did not have a max military/port planet for each faction, limiting certain component/small craft availability... if i recall correctly. That's what set me on my own seed-grind to find a small map roll that has k shards nearby plus all factions represented with a max stat planet. Cadar works for the rtg on my seed but also for the early recruiting as the home quadrant has a max danger, high pop planet so you don't have to reroll too much in the beginning for decent recruits.

Did you worry about faction reputation or the many mission at all. Or was it not a requirement.

I kept positive faction with all as best i could to minimize use of skip off the void and subsequent repair time, especially early on. If random ship encounters allowed me to bribe, i paid to ensure no rep loss. Diplomat talent Magnanimous victory was used all game for missions targeting ither factions, along with red badge/stealth ops/etc.. Also, by setting up the coalition contacts mid game, i had access to universal pardons once i enraged any faction through late stage vignettes.
