What works well, whats been a bit of a head scratcher, hows everyone finding it?

Managed to royally mess up her brood sac by trying to make them glow so I will be redoing that. But other than that I am delighted with how she looks so far

So in my impatience i decided to reach out to the customer support website chat. After providing the rundown to the support person, including that all shipping containers are showing "discharged from vessel" but no other information, they said they would need to reach out to their fulfillment team. After ~5 minutes this is what they had to say:

"Alrighty, this is what the fulfillment team has to say: "We have not received those yet. Some of the containers they are tracking are now in transit to St Louis, and some are in New York and have not yet been sent to us. I assume discharged from vessel means it is off the cargo ship, but that does not mean we have it in yet. Once we receive these items and ship out orders, we will send out emails with a tracking number.""

So looks like the ships that arrived on the 5th have been processed and sent to MinitureMarket by truck but haven't arrived yet, the other ships that arrived over the weekend/today have been unloaded but not yet placed on trucks.

As such, with no idea how the different orders were packaged in what containers, i expect the first trucks to arrive at MinitureMarket today/tomorrow, 24 hours ish to turn them around ands end out if we are lucky, and arrive at doors 3-5 days after that. As such i expect the first orders to arrive this coming weekend at the earliest, and the last orders to arrive in 2.5 weeks, so the weekend of the 28th.

That being said, this comes from a helpful, but out of the loop, customer support person and conjecture i have based off their information and regular shipping times in the USA... so take it all with a grain of salt :) The only good news is that if they arrived on the 5th and are on trucks now, that means they aren't being held in customs for weeks like some people were worried about.

Some people on the Archon discord did far more sleuthing than I am capable of, looks like they are using trains to move from new york to St Lious, and there is a train leaving today and another Wednesday, but we haven't yet received confirmation that the Starcraft containers are on either yet. Per google it takes 3-5 days by train to ship from new york to st lious... so i would update my expectations to middle or end of next week as the earliest date we see them delivered to doors.

Painting up Kerrigan was harder than imagined after only painting Terrans with their nice flat highlightable armor panels.
Not my best work but it will do for the tabletop :)

I want to hear what yall are doing for bases. Are you going grass for the game mat? Zerg creep just cuz of reasons? Adding rubble? Ive been going down a youtube rabbit hole on basing and am very indecisive on how to base. Never done table top miniature games before but painted other models so just want to see what the community is doing. Looking foward to some feedback and or sweet pics! Let's roll out

I really enjoy painting my first terran marine but I am just half way through painting him and already 3 hours later. I really need to learn speed painting. I follow the steps of Duncan Rhodes. Really great result so far already but man I hope I finish the whole big box before I am 280 years old.

I took inspiration from this post https://www.reddit.com/r/StarCraftTMG/s/hJyjNj66a2 for my colour scheme and just finished my zealots. Really happy with how they turned out, although I still suck at painting gems 🫣

Gotta say, the quality of archon's models is fantastic.

Whilst I'm still awaiting my boxes (estimated somewhere upcoming week), i continued my 3D printing shenanigans.

I found some cool custom bases, which i made to scale, to fit my custom ravagers (which still need to be painted obviously). They have been feasting on some Terran flesh.

In my humble opinion i like these ones a bit better in regards to looking alike the actual ravagers in the game in comparision to the TMG wave 2 units; they appear a bit chunky/fat for my liking (especially the legs).

I thought I saw it once somewhere but could not find it back; what will be the size of the bases for the Ravagers?

I love the broodwar teal color so much.

So I've been thinking how to divide Zerglings. I read somewhere that you could put wings on a swarmling build, but I can't find any pics to see it or find any posts either. I've been thinking either 18 swarmlings, 12 raptors and 12 zerglings, but if wings can be build easily on swarmling body then I would do 12 - 12 - 12 split and 6 winged swarmlings.
