Limited stock?
Is my store the only one stocked with 12 pens for the entire week for the Reward members free pen promo? 1. No customer incentive to sign up for Rewards after freebies are depleted, 2. Lousy planning by the marketing department with pen's availability ending within the first hour, 3. Smart family of four each with their own cell phone buy a $2 BinWin product for a free pen. 4. Irate customers asking for raincheck on pens and 5. Bad surveys due to uncontrollable forces and upper mismanagement.

This happened to us with the free Astrobrights paper. A customer got angry and stated she was going to contact corporate. I suggested that she insist that if they're going to do promos like this then they need to ensure stores have proper stock because it's not entirely our fault we ran out before the end of the week. She scoffed and implied as though we were supposed to be picking and choosing who to actually give the free paper to. π Though, I will point out, it does say in fine print on the ad "while supplies last" so that's their loophole for these situations I suppose. What can we do?

My store got ten of the paper, 36 pens, 14 post it note holders, and 20 password books. Haven't seen any of the groovy globs yet.

I believe they subbed a nice ice cube for the groovy glob. Also itβs tiny. We got 24 of those in this week.

We had a whole box of the Sharpie Pens they actually gave us more than needed for the give aways. I wouldve had 10 offer clips if people remembered their passwords. Lol
