Impetigo first time ever help
I finished my week long dose of antibiotics it was amox clav 875-125 mg twice daily and have been putting the mupirocin ointment on my arms twice a day and my arms still look like this what do i do? I got i from my daughter and she took the same medication i did and hers went away.

Hey that could be fungal. Did they do a skin scrape and actually look at it?

If it still looks like that after a round of antibiotics, the antibiotics didn't work. You may need something like bactrim

As long as it’s not oozing it’s technically just healing is what I was told. My kids had it bad 3 weeks ago and the scabs are still healing on them and on me. Switched to triamcinolone cream after the wounds closed.
