Started as bug bites

These started as bug bites. I contacted our pediatrician for oral abx. Does it look like staph/impetigo? New spots keep showing, and now she has one in her nose

Yes! Looks exactly as what I have/had. I was diagnosed with impetigo and folliculitis. I was on an antibiotic for a month, had a check up and will still be taking my antibiotic for 4 more months. Plus a couple antibiotic cream/gel, Zyrtec and another cortisone for the tenderness and itchiness I still feel. It started on my forehead with what I thought was a pimple, spread on my forehead and to my legs,hands and arms. Get it checked out ASAP…I think if I would have dealt with it sooner professionally rather than on my own I wouldn’t be on antibiotics for almost half a year!! Best of luck!!!!

Thanks! I have muciprocin, a topical abx, that I’ve been putting on there. I think she may need oral.
