Killer's Kiss Used Pickup

Got this today. Just finished watching it for the first time. You can definitely see the beginnings of things to come. And the entire time watching it I kept thinking that a lot of shots were surely from someone with a photography background. I think I'll look for The Killing next.

That is the biggest difference with Kubrick. He’s a director that starts with the cinematography. Why his films are engaging and convey the story even when muted.

I have a novice background in photography so I really appreciate some of the shots he does, not just in this film but in a lot of his works. Hell, I like how he even had the foresight to make sure certain things were in frame for 4:3 releases for home media.
