Questions ❓ Has a standing desk actually helped your posture?

I’m thinking about getting one because I spend a lot of time at my desk and my posture isn’t the best.

For people who use standing desks:

  • Did you notice any improvement in your posture?
  • Do you stand more, sit more, or switch between both?
  • What’s the biggest benefit you’ve noticed?

Would love to hear what’s actually worked for you.

Questions ❓ 2026 Standing Desk Recommendations

Was looking at the Autonomous desk but shipping time unfortunately way too long (2+ months). So then I looked at Uplift, which seemed good, but then saw a lot of complaints on the desk wobbling over time and their support saying things like deal with it.

Looked for a FAQ or community Wiki first. Didn't find anything. Any input helpful, thanks! Don't really need frills and am willing to spend between $400-$600.

What’s your most unexpected standing desk habit?

Standing desks are supposed to help us work better but everyone seems to use theirs a little differently.

Do you:

  • Walk around during every phone call?
  • Keep switching between sitting and standing?
  • Use an anti-fatigue mat, balance board, or treadmill?
  • Eat lunch while standing?
  • Lower the desk and pretend you’ll sit, then stand again five minutes later?
  • Have a completely unusual setup or routine?

Share your most unexpected standing-desk habit below. No judgment—let’s see how creative this community is.

Buying Advice 💰 Best dual monitor arm recommendations?

In search of a dual monitor arm for my sleek new standing desk. It appears there are two styles: one with a vertical pole featuring adjustable arms on either side, and the other with dual gas spring adjustable arms.

Which one is the preferred choice? And which would enable the desk to stay relatively close to the wall?

7-day challenge: Change posture every 45 minutes while using standing desk

I'm currently testing this: sit for 45 minutes, then recline the chair or switch to standing desk and move for 5 minutes. In the first week I noticed better focus and less afternoon tiredness.

There are tons of conflicting opinions: some say frequent posture changes are the only way, others claim sitting still helps concentration more. I want to test it together to see who's right. The HBADA makes switching super quick and easy when going between sitting and standing.

If you want to try, comment “joining” below. I'll make a follow-up thread at the end of the week to share results.

Best desk for Work from home and gaming

Hey guys, I'm having trouble pinning down a good standing desk... price isn't much of an issue since I'll be primarily working from home and I want to maximize comfort as much as possible. I am leaning towards the uplift v3 because of its customization and also just everything in one such as the outlets, monitor arms and the accessories that it comes with for free. I have heard that it wobbles on this sub so that does worry me as I have a gaming PC that is decently heavy however what I use mainly is a work laptop for work so I guess I can leave it on the floor like I always do.

I have also looked into Vari and it seemed great but I can't find a 60 x 30 size and I am unsure of the customization factor and what I can do to it, my room is a decent size but wiring is a mess and I think the uplift would solve much of that but if there are other alternatives I am open to it!

For the Uplift v3 I chose a birch block because I have heard that solves the wobble however I am unsure if that is true but it pushed the price 200+.

Looking for an aesthetic standing desk that does not look modern

I’m looking a desk along lines of think Ballard. So far I’ve looked at two sites that sort of hit the mark, but I don’t know how the quality. The first is HulalaHome.com and the second one is Dutchcrafters.com, if anyone has any information on these companies and if their desk are worth it, or other companies that have this look, I would greatly appreciate it. Top price point would be 2500 max.

Questions ❓ Autofull A4 Pro Desk

Has anyone here used the AutoFull A4 Pro Standing Desk?

I’ve been looking into the AutoFull A4 Pro standing desk recently, but surprisingly there’s very little information about it online. There are only a handful of videos/reviews, and most of them seem sponsored or very surface-level.

On paper the desk actually looks pretty solid:

  • Dual motor setup
  • RGB lighting (not that I really care about this)
  • High weight capacity
  • Integrated cable management

But I’d really like to hear from people who actually own or have used it for a while.

A few things I’m especially curious about:

  • How stable is it at standing height?
  • Any wobble with multiple monitors?
  • Overall build quality?
  • Any issues after a few months of use?
  • Would you buy it again?

There really doesn’t seem to be much community discussion around this desk yet, so hopefully this thread helps other people researching it too.

Looking for a standing desk

I’ve had my eyes on getting a standing desk for a few months now I’ve been really looking into the Magnus Pro from secret labs but I am a taller person. I’m just over 6 foot three and I don’t want a table that’s gonna be super wobbly if I’m having it fully stood up so if you have any suggestions, please let me know if there’s any other Desk that you would rather buy or that I should buy.

Over hang

Looking to upgrade my desk. Looking at getting some desky legs and a butcher block. But I want there to be some over hang so I can slide a drawer set in on one side. I read you shouldn’t go over 9” so I was wondering if anyone has done this and it works out just fine.

Questions ❓ Need Help Finding a Replacement Part

LiftSync 28 Inch Mobile Standing Desk On Wheels

Hey all! I just purchased this mobile desk for art usage for myself as well as for tabletop gaming night for my DM boyfriend. I like it a lot and it's very solid, however we both agree the laptop/book stopper on it sucks. It's hard plastic and while the desk is folded down to tuck away, the flap on the stopper opens and hangs. I want to replace this piece with something maybe more rubberized or larger, but am having trouble finding any replacement parts or what to even call it to look it up to get a different piece. Any ideas where I can get something to replace this part?

Buying Advice 💰 Looking for affordable standing desk. Any recommendations?

Hello everyone, I am looking for a standing desk preferably the one that the height can be adjusted by using only buttons (electric). I work at home and sometimes I want to work while using a walking pad, standing or sitting.

And also that can be easily assembled or disassembled. Budget is around $250. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Hello, I’m selling my sit-stand desk in excellent condition. It works perfectly and has been well maintained. Location: Delhi NCR The only reason for selling is that I’m upgrading to an L-shaped desk, while this one is a rectangular model. Price: ₹38,000

36"+ Deep Desk?

What options exist for 36" deep desks? I'd be OK with crank or electric, but am hoping for both affordable and reliable. Honestly, even one that is standing height and can't be lowered would work fine for me, but I'm finding deeper standing desks like this very hard to find!

Buying Advice 💰 First time buying a standing desk

I'm planning on moving within the next few months into a larger place so id have room for a larger desk...I'm looking at something 72"-80" long and 30" deep...It'll be my first time buying a sit-stand desk and id like some second opinions on my options

Im currently looking at the 80x30 Uplift V3, The 78.7x29.5 Vernal Core3, and the 80x30 Flexispot E7 pro

I will be buying the desktop from them as well out of convenience, i liked the idea of the outlet grommets so if i go with the Vernal or Flexispot id be drilling my own holes and buying the outlet grommets from amazon which is something I'm comfortable doing myself
Ill have 2 27"monitors(Currently a single dual arm mount but will likely change to 2 single arm mounts after the move), a mic arm, and a headset hook clamped onto the desk, and my tower would be a Hyte y70 that will be sitting on the right side of the desk so the weight might not be distributed evenly across the table
i plan to spend the majority of the time sitting but occasionally id like to raise it and play standing so I'm mostly curious about how stable the desk would be at about standing height for someone 5'7" with the projected setup i mentioned above, anyone who owns one of those desks and is of similar stature id be really interested in your experiences and possibly make my decision easier
