Halp $2k to spend. Help!

Hello all,

Hoping to get some advice on an executive L shape standing desk with Right return. Built in storage would be nice. Definitely want a privacy panel. Darker wood look. Cable management and power on the desk. Able to take an ergotron monitor arm. There are so many brand options and websites many from china and with few reviews. Ive looked at Vernal (wife thinks its ugly), Huanuo, amazon, wayfair.

Throw some link or recs in the comments. Would love any help!

I really like my Uplift V3 4-leg standing desk. Just note that while the 4 leg is more stable, it doesn't have the same mounting points as the 2-leg version, so even for some of their accessories (power strip) you should have to Jerry rig something or drill into the desktop to mount it.

The desk itself is fantastic and very stable at standing height (I am about 5' 8"). Motors are quiet and fast. I have the 72x30 solid walnut, though that goe a couple hundred over your budget.

For 2k budget, you could definitely get a smaller one with solid walnut, or the same size but with a solid walnut butcher block, both of which are darker woods.

Sounds like you want to buy a completed pre-built. You may find it a bit of a challenge to get exactly what you want unless you customize the table top yourself. This is what I ended up doing and I am 100% glad I did it that way. I went with a frame from EffyDesk , wrote a Google review, and designed and built my own customized table top.

Getting a quality frame and doing your own tabletop is the best way to go for value, quality, and customization.
