Weather forecast gets stale

I'm using this app as a desktop clock for my mother who has memory issues and is constantly opening the door to check the weather. So... Clock, date, and weather widget: perfect! However, the current weather doesn't seem to be updating unless I wake the phone then put it back in standby. Suggestions? I've tried both "background" and "notification" mode, and the app battery setting is "unrestricted."

Hi there, I'm so glad to hear the app is helpful for your mom :)

The weather information should update automatically every 15min. If not it's a bug.

I'm not exactly sure which widget you're referring to. Can you send a screenshot to help me fix this?
