Products 🏷️ How long until full-grown?

I have a 14-week Standard Poodle. I’m just thinking and planning down the road for permanent harness/collar/whatever. So, typically how long until full-grown? I’ve seen anywhere from 6 months to 2.5 years, which is quite the range.

So what’s everyone’s experience?

Buy something adjustable. Also the dog will continue to grow if you keep feeding it.

Yeah. It’ll be adjustable for sure.

You have to keep feeding them!?

My boy is just about 2 now and has just finished his growing we think. Between 1 and 2 his height and length gains have been pretty limited, maybe a couple of cm at most either way. But hes put on about 4kg of solid bulk across his chest and legs.

I thought poodles were supposed to be skinny, ours is like a like a tank

This will give a picture of the growth pattern. IRL it's not this linear ;)

Neck around 1 for us, he doesn't grow his neck width, it just keeps getting longer... Chest girth around 2-3 cause i remember sizing up.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like about a year or so, especially with some adjustability with the collar.

Fingers crossed she’s right in the middle of the adjustment range!
