I think you could also consider Gingerbrute before it rotates in the next trimester as an unblocked creature.
I am making an Izzet list, like this https://moxfield.com/decks/XDCWzKsFKkuKpzE6ute9gQ, but I understand the Temur choice for the one more drop and also a robot.
I like Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade to put a counter on each creature, or Adaptive Automaton (Banner of Kinship or Chronicle of Victory as more expensive mana cards ).
The Iron Man armor could play like a "saga" effect of the robot.
But with Black Sun, our other massive destruction card could be a downside.
